Parking Fine for Unloading

You didn't answer my question. Do you understand that many parking companies never go to court?
If they intend taking you to court they will send you a legal document telling you. A warning so to speak.
As you are struggling I'm trying to break this down into chunks you can understand and not move on until you do.
I understand that they may not but if I leave it until a letter for Court, the cost will have already risen to £100 and be a lot more by then. The shopping centre manager says that it is not reversible so don’t leave it, appeal maybe and then pay.0 -

They won't settle for less than £100. This is a scam industry that have recently been discussed in Parliament and had laws passed (but not yet enacted) to rein in their outrageous behaviour.
If you pay £60 they will come back demanding more. This happens time and time again.
Hopefully you understand that.
As many companies don't want their behaviour examined in court they don't issue claims.'
As such it is of no benefit for you to pay unless they send an official warning they really are going to take you to court.
Do you understand that?0 -

Don’t understand if I pay the £60 how can they ask me for more? That’s a joke surely.0 -
Forums are supposed to be helpful places were folks give you info to help you not keep telling you to go find stuff out yourself. If you know why not tell me. I’ve been up hours and hours searching for info that will say 100% they can’t take you court, if they do they won’t win and certainly no one would ever state that every case is the same. So if you don’t want to help don’t bother putting comments like this down.
You are right, forums are helpful places and on this forum people receive amazing advice and they go on to win. HOWEVER, no forum will hold you hand, you need to research if you want to win.
Waamo was only saying the truth
Whilst your solicitor friend maybe very good, out of all the 1000's of solicitors in the UK, there are only 4 solicitors who support these parking companies and most of the time, they don't know what they are doing anyway.
The bottom line is, you are the master of your own destiny and this forum points you in the right direction0 -
I can’t find any clear useful help sorry guys. I’m out.0

So you pay them £60 this week. Instantly you go on a 'mugs' list.Don’t understand if I pay the £60 how can they ask me for more? That’s a joke surely.
A year or so down the line they send you a letter saying you owe them £60.
Are you going to ignore that letter?
The process starts again - debt collectors letters, threats of court.
You panic again and pay again - whether they would actually carry out their threats or not.
Are you going to be a victim all your life?
Or are you ever going to stand up to bullies?0 -

No it isn't a joke. I am being entirely serious. You still don't seem to have grasped that you are dealing with a cowboy industry.
Parliament themselves described the industry as "an outrageous scam". Parliaments words not mine.0 -
Apparently there is a unloading bay at back of centre. I’ve explained I didn’t know, but they say it was up to me to find out. Signs are up saying all unloading at back but I never saw them..
Well there you go - at least 1 point of defence, not clear signage - you will need to add others
You have to understand what you read, so read all of the newbie thread, look at other threads and this will give you insight into what is happening with private parking companies
Simple version is you appeal to this company using a template, they say no, you appeal again to an independant service, you either win or loss, if you loss then the parking company has 6 years to take you to court
If they take you to court and you fail to understand the newbie thread now then I'm afraid it gets a little harder with court as YOU have to research a defence ( with help of cause) but you have to understand it“You’re only here for a short visit.

Absolute rubbish on what grounds can they charge me for the same offence. Tell how... or do I need to look that up for myself. You’re a joke you really are.0
