Parking Fine for Unloading

There is no fine. Nowhere in any of their letters do they mention a fine.
Don't give them a level of authority they clearly do not have.0 -
That is the whole point of complaining to the landowner.I will be complaining but first I want the fine squashed.
Are you missing the fact that this is the ONLY route but a certain route, if you speak to the right person, to get the charge quashed (not squashed).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

You’re right it says ‘parking charge’ - but do I just ignore if my chat with management of shopping park fails to bring any joy.0

This came through the post with photographic evidence. It wasn’t one stuck on the car window.0

This is not a fine and you will not be paying, but the reason we are pushing you to complain AGAIN AND AGAIN to whoever contracted with PCM (the scumbag ex clampers who've been exposed as rogue traders on Watchdog*) is because the only other way to beat PCM is at your local court.
We have a 99% defended cases win rate and no CCJ risk, no huge costs, not so bad.
But MUCH easier to press that complaint and threaten to remove your business, and point out they are using a rogue trader who failed to allow any grace period or any loading/unloading exemption.
I don’t have a contract with the shopping park, it was a private one and they were using the venue I went to. I don’t blame anyone except PCM who are insisting I parked on the road when I didn’t I was just unloading. Also this cane through the post it wasn’t stuck on the window. How did they get my address.0 -
It's the shopping centre that have the contract. PCM are their employees.
They got your address from the DVLA.0 -
So this means they can take me to court then. But would they for £100. If I was parked where I was unloading then that would be wrong but I didn’t park there I moved. I can prove that, the customer moved their car for me so I could park close by and moved hers to the under ground car park. Would they win in a court or am I more likely.0

Have you done any reading around?
Yes, because it wont be £100 by the time they take you to court, IF they do. It will be for £200+
You cannot keep asking questions here
Do the reading around *first*, as your questions are mostly answered. Your situation is not unique. You are claiming you stopped to load / unload, and presumably have evidence that shows this is more likely than not to be true. On the day, in court, you just have to convince a judge of this, and you win. We cannot tell you you will win or not.0 -

They take thousands of people to court each year for similar sums. All the information you need is available by googling, on the stickies, and on similar web to thus one
Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.
Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.
Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
I’ve Phone shopping centre and the guy who answers phone ( security) is telling me I need to pay or appeal. He won’t put me through to management. Where do I go from here? Should I appeal, just ignore everything? Will they go to court?0
