I'm back
Had a lovely time - lots of sun and sangria! It did rain/storm for the first few days but after that it was gorgeous! I tried scuba-diving as planned, we did a fair amount of walking, and I stayed on budget with my 200 euros, so all good there
I will get on later today with a longer post about finances etc, just wanted to poke my head in0 -
Welcome back and I am glad you had a nice time xx0

I never actually made it back on yesterday, as yesterday I managed to forget both my thermal bottle and my coffee flask for work, so had a caffeine withdrawal/dehydration combo headache that took me out (read: laying on the sofa) until about 9pm when it subsided :rotfl: safe to say I remembered them both today
Weighed in last night, and I am now 1lb heavier than when I got back from my last holiday, so full steam ahead on getting back into exercise and eating better as I have over a stone to lose to be back at my comfortable weight. At least I know that I have done it before, so I can do it again!
I have started making protein shake type things for breakfast with fruit and stuff in, as opposed to just eating breakfast biscuits or piddly little breakfasts. The last recipe I found said to use unsweetened almond or soya milk to reduce the sugar etc, I can report that unsweetened almond milk is vile, two days in a row I will have had it (wanted to get my money's worth from the bottle) so I will be looking at alternatives today... it's a good idea in principle, I'm getting protein and some of my 5 a day in my breakfast
I have a rough total for the extra money I need to make by the end of the year to be debt-free, it'll be tough but I think I can do itI'll have a better idea at the middle of this month when all of this month's stuff is paid off
Goals for November:
- make as much extra £££ as possible
- lose some weight (I won't set a target in case I disappoint myself)
- 15 NSD's
- practise self-care0 -
Happy Thursday! One more working day to go
I tried a new protein smoothie recipe this morning, frozen fruit, fat free yoghurt, water, baby spinach and some protein powder, and it was drinkableI got a shock though between making it and drinking it...
When I made it, it was pink. When I opened the bottle to drink it, it had turned green :rotfl: still, much better than the previous ones. I wouldn't choose it over a bacon sandwich or anything, but it's definitely something I'm happy to keep up with.
I'll probably make it to the gym this evening, OH is at work so we won't be taking the kids out, so that means I will be sat at home answering the door every 5 minutes if I stay in :rotfl;
Payday today, just sitting down to work out what can be paid when, either today or in two weeks, I can overpay CC3 today, and then do the rest of the debt-busting when my other wages come in
(Just sent £150 over to CC3, that's all of the overpayments until my other money comes in, just good to know it's done and out of the way. It will have it's regular £25 paid next week via DD, too)
Facepalm moment, just realised I didn't pick up my Costco card this morning, so can't fill up on the way home. I will just have to bung in the minimum to get me home and back to work tomorrow somewhere else, and make sure I pick up my card in the morning! We're still half in the phase at home of things not being back in their usual places after holiday, I did all of the washing and unpacking then kind of gave up :rotfl:0
