Hi SSDD23, just been catching up on your last couple of weeks. You're doing so well! So pleased all your hard work and efforts are paying off for you, the debt total is tumbling down
Loving how organised you are with everything, especially your Christmas purchases, need to borrow some of your motivation and enthusiasm I think. Not long to the holiday now, hope you have a great time x

Thank you, DITR
Physio wasn't anywhere near as productive as I thought it would be, she is a senior physio but kind of seems to be acting as a go between, between other physio's and me. Her colleagues had given her some more things to try and test out and examine on my foot, she took details, and said she would call me/me call her in a couple of weeks to see what the latest was.
Feeling quite down in the dumps about that, I won't lie. 27 years old and can't walk without pain, or do any of the exercise that I actually enjoy doing (I told her this, too).
Oh well, sure something good will happen with it soon.....0 -
aw
I am sorry to read that the physio did not exactly go as planned...do they have no idea at all what is causing this?? I feel your pain I am in a similar position with my knee its sore - docs haven't a clue, won't refer me to physio so would need to pay for private physio (no chance of that yet). Although I am frustrated as I used to be very active so can't do that as much. I really hope for your health..and sanity:rotfl: they get this sorted
Good news that you may have money left over though and to think you will have another debt cleared soon YAY0 -

I think they are ruling things out by a slow process of elimination, but each time it's 2 weeks for her to go back and discuss and then I have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment so it's very slow going...
Going to have to dip into my present pot today as she recommended I start wearing my arch support insoles again, and can I find them since we moved? Of course I bloody can't. I'm sure they'll turn up when I don't need them, but I do need them, so will have to go out and spend another £30 on some... I'll just have to treat it as a present for my feet :rotfl: at least I have the money, I guessand, if they do turn up, I won't have to keep taking them in and out of shoes as I'll have more than one pair :rotfl:
Halfway through the week, getting closer and closer to holiday
Today I am grateful for:
- A good audiobook to make crap traffic a bit more bearable
- 4 days until holiday
- Good heating at work
Oh, the pharmacy said my prescription is due in today, so will have plenty before I go on holiday0 -
Me again!
Made a little bit of extra ££ today, so on the way home I am picking up some new bedding for our bed, as I put one on our bed the day before yesterday that smells kind of musty, I suspect it may have been used to protect something in the moving van and I didn't notice, so that needs washing, and the other good set is also in the wash. The new set is mustard and grey, my new favourite combination at the momentI'm also going to pick up some Zoflora and see if I can't sort out our stinky cupboard once and for all.
My brother ripped up the top layer of carpet over the weekend, and we put that in the big shed, which smells fine, but the cupboard still smells of weed, so it must be the bottom carpet layer, which would explain the top layer if they were trying to cover it in a hurry!
Didn't get my prescription, it didn't get sent over until about an hour ago, so will head over and pick that up tomorrow.
I'm in the mood to have a cleaning spree this evening, so will go with that whim whilst it lasts and try and tidy around OH and the kids.
I did pick up my insoles though, so at least I achieved something! I also picked up OH's boys football t-shirt (Xmas pressie) so I now have everything that I have ordered, all delivered or collected
Just need to think of a few presents for some other people, and pick those up after holiday, probably when my main wages come in0 -
Three more sleeps until holiday, and one more day at work after today!
The £125 switch incentive was paid into the account last night, so that has been paid straight off of CC3. It's very exciting to think that in a month's time, my figure will start with a "1"
Didn't get a chance to test the Zoflora on the stinky cupboard last night, but did clean the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with it, and it smells lush. When I bought it, the cashier was raving to me about it :rotfl:
The new bedding also looks lovely
Fridge audit needs to be done tomorrow evening, will see if my brother wants any of the chilled items that will go out of date whilst we are away e.g. milk, cheese, etc. I will be dropping my car with him to run around a few times whilst we are away, to make sure the battery doesn't grumble and refuse to co-operate when we return :rotfl:
Things I am grateful for this morning:
- It's nearly holiday time
- The free £125
- A lovely smelling house
I need to pick up some toiletries and maybe order one or two more presents before we go away, but other than that, no real planned spends0 -
Yay to new bedding
Exciting that you'll be down to the 1's
Have a lovely day xx0 -

It's my last day of work :j:j:j
I did my usual of reset my alarm for ten minutes later, then I remembered it was my last day, and PING I was wide awake :rotfl:
Today I am grateful for:
- My last working day, obvs
- The fact I am meeting my nan for lunch later
- That I have the house mostly to myself (OH is on lates) until we go away, so I can give it a good clean so that it's lovely to come back to
I have quite a few bits I want to get done over the weekend, mostly packing and tidying, but also bits for myself like some hair and beauty treatments, I should be able to fit everything in
CC3 is now finally reflecting the £125 I paid to it
A little annoyed, I bought my euros last week in case something horrible happened to the rate with Brexit, and it's improved :rotfl: :rotfl: oh well, better to have done that, than it gone the other way I guess
Anyway, must keep myself super busy today to make the time pass quicker0 -
Have a lovely holiday0
