The need for the number of witnesses is only so that they can allocate a room big enough (if it is a F2F hearing) for all the witnesses plus you and the other side.4

I have looked in detail at the Abuse of Process info. I can only find it as part of a defence.
Any chance somebody could point me in the direction of how to use it in my WS?
Thanks in advance.0 -
This advice from @Coupon-mad is lifted from another thread. It's a starting point for you.swan351 said:I have looked in detail at the Abuse of Process info. I can only find it as part of a defence.

Thanks in advance.Yes, you have to submit a WS and evidence (your photos, a copy of the ticket, and your case law - see other examples) in time. Read WS examples and copy what they did, including a costs assessment and the supplementary WS and exhibits about the added £60 being an abuse of process.
It is easy once you find some good ones, look at what @keypulse an @Chefdave submitted. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

So in my case it's the £100 contractual costs added that are the abuse of process?
Claim form attached.

Can still see the password , bottom right
The court fee and legal costs are acceptable in cases like yours
The interest may be artificially inflated due to the charges being raised
They seem to have charged for 2 PCN,s at £100 each , plus £100 in spurious costs , namely £50 per PCN
So if I am correct in my assumptions , yes they have added on £100 which are the abuse of process charges , at £50 per pcn which is or was typical , whereas now it's usually £60 or £70 per pcn
Check if the original signage and NTK,s stated £100 , or say £90 or less , the typical maximum is £100 per pcn3 -
Rectified. Thank you for pointing it out and for your response. Can still see the password , bottom right1 -
Do I need to provide evidence of costs? ie paying for Land registry requests.
I made 2 requests, but am only using one in my WS. Can I claim for both?0 -
OK, other than doing a covering message, one for court, one fore Claimant. I think this is my WS plus a supplementary for abuse of procedure.
I am hoping that it is all OK, but am prepared to have it picked apart.
Comments much appreciated.0 -
I would put both in with proof of payment for each one , at worst a judge turns one or both down , if you don't ask , you don't getswan351 said:Do I need to provide evidence of costs? ie paying for Land registry requests.

Same with printing costs , postage , time spent etc , add in so you have 2 columns or sections
One is the typical allowed court costs , the second is personal costs etc2 -
