But was trading on the contravention dates, however they are not on the Land registry as the owners of the land.

So here is my 1st draft WS. I have not yet got around to including the abuse of process info or my costs yet. It is late and I need to get back to it as soon as I can in the morning.0

The good news is that you are no less late now than you will be at 8am on Monday morning.
Get your WS filed and served before 8am on Monday morning.3 -
My question is, how badly will this might affect the outcome of the case? The good news is that you are no less late now than you will be at 8am on Monday morning.
Should I be apologising in a covering later for the lateness? Perhaps citing my confusion over the 48 hour instruction?0 -
No, just get on and get it done, make sure you use the "extra" time that @KeithP has indicated that you have to make it the best WS you can. Make sure you include all the evidence FOR your case. If you want, when you submit, you could say on the e-mail, in line with the court order of DD/MM/YY, here is my WS submitted at least 48 hours before the hearing.
In your first post of 14th you said you have a draft defence but surely you submitted that weeks ago!!2 -
Yes, sorry. I have great difficulty separating terminology. I meant draft WS. It's only coming back to this forum, that some of these things are becoming clearer in my head. It is because my defence and my WS contain pretty much the same info.In your first post of 14th you said you have a draft defence but surely you submitted that weeks ago!!
I shall attempt to make sure I use the correct wording, as I know it only muddles things when I use the wrong ones.

Your WS should be "in support of your defence as already filed" and should be a narrative of what happened on the day and subsequently, it should not be a reworking of the defence.2

I think that is what I have done. The defence was a condensed overview of why I didn't pay. The WS gives more detail.Your WS should be "in support of your defence as already filed" and should be a narrative of what happened on the day and subsequently, it should not be a reworking of the defence.
Have you had an opportunity to view the PDF post at 2.04 this morning.0 -
It seems to say it all.1

Just realised that on my N180 I put one witness would be appearing (myself). I have since added a witness statement from my employer to my evidence. Will i have to remove that from my evidence as I
a) didn't say in the N180 he would appear.
b) don't think he would be prepared to actually appear. ( I thought his statement could be helpful)0
