Throwing it down here too and I am really lacking motivation! Paid stuff almost done, just some more boring training to get through. Haven’t even done dailies yet today. Will have to try and shift a bit once work is done.
Tea and a book sound like a much nicer idea though!
Back later0 -
Afternoon all.
This week has not gone as planned. I'm worn out. BUT the house is tidy enough, the laundry is as up to date as possible.
I was trying to do "I will support my teen" student finance stuff today but the website doesn't like me. Keeps saying I'm registered but it can't find my account  When I ask for it to retrieve my account info it can't find it either. I tried calling the number it kept giving me and I got totally confused at the automated voice. After 4 attempts (spread out over about 2 hours) I gave up and messaged them via Tw1tterMy brain obviously can't do phonecalls today.
Downside is that DS won't get their finances in September like we were aiming for simply because my stupid brain isn't working properly atm
I'm supposed to be out tomorrow with friends for a p0k3mon g0 thing. I'm going to rest as much as possible this evening and tomorrow morning to conserve spoons and will try and rest on Sunday to recover ready for a busy work week. I've just set up my planner and apart from work I actually have nothing much on next week. I am really really looking forward to no deadlines/appointments
I think I'm going to go and putter in the kitchen. Although I've washed up already today, there's still dirty dishes and I could probably do with running the vaccum over downstairs as well as a duster or 5.:o I'm going to do that over the rest of today and count it as a job well done for this week. Basics is all I'm up to, and work tonight. Thank goodness I planned a quick and easy (even DS can make it on a bad day) meal for tonight
First though, time for another drink, and I'm aiming to get the last 20% of this audiobook finished before DS gets home from his exam.

I have finished DD2 room or rather done all that I'm going to do. One window still to clean but it's pouring with rain and a bookshelf/unit to dust and her drum kit but she can do that herself. Just need to remake the bed but letting the mattress air a bit as cats have been sleeping on it.
OH should be home soon so going to wash my hands and smother them in hand cream and wait until he gets in for a cup of tea.
All in all a productive day, feeling quite pleased with myself.
Enjoy the weekend0 -
Dailies finally done, tea done, eaten and washing up done.
Also went and did food shop so at least I don’t have that to do tomorrow.
That’s my lot for this evening though, will catch up on rest of stuff tomorrow although overall house does not look too bad.
Have a good evening all.0 -
Evening all.
It’s been a manic day at work but lots crossed off the list - and lots added for Monday.
Came home to find that DH had hung out the washing and was nowhere to be seen as it pelted down. Rescued the washing, emptied the dw, cooked and WULTD afterwards. Kitchen surfaces wiped down. HH paperwork done.
I’m now contemplating whether I have the energy to watch tv or whether to just drink my cuppa and head to bed with my book. I think that’s the winning idea.
See you in the morning.0 -
Morning all
Up early today, couldn’t sleep. The rain is lashing down and it is so windy, really feel like a duvet day would be good but can’t because too much to do!
WM on, will definitely be drying that indoors today!
Going to have a cuppa and then put dishes away and make a start on the list, house is looking ok after my efforts this week but I would like to tackle some extra jobs. DH and I also need to sort some paperwork and financial stuff so I think that could be a task for this afternoon.
Have a good day all, try not to get wet or blown away!!0 -
Morning all, rubbish weather here, no matter I have a list as long as my arm to be cracking on with. DW has been unloaded, I made some batter for Yorkshire puddings last night so will get them in to cook soon. After this cuppa I will walk the dog, package up some eBay parcels then nip to the post office and bakery.
Have marvellous days all XX0 -
Morning all
Rain has stopped temporarily and the sun is trying hard to push through. I’m not getting my hopes up though.
Plenty to get on with here as well. Apart from catching up on the flying front, I also have a stack of cakes to make for a cake sale.
Wm has just finished so I’ll hang that up indoors and then make a list.0 -
Morning all :hello:
I have the weekend off :j Ex isn't coming this week (he text me this morning to let me know as our DS is hopeless at answering texts :rotfl:) so I don't feel the need to clean up the livingroom etc to a better standardTidy is good enough for me this week. On the downside the weather is awful and it's lashing down with rain, so I've decided to bus it into town to meet my friends today. I may also hide out in the main library for a while (Must remember to put an extra bag in my bag in case I decide to borrow any books
).
I'm currently sat at my desk listening to another audiobook (my 31st book this year!) and writing out my list for Monday in the hopes I don't forget anything. Also making a "toots list" for longer term jobs otherwise I'll never get around to them. However paperwork and sewing jobs are getting their own index card lists so they don't get lost in the other lists.
Going to go kick DS into gear. He's supposed to be washing up and putting the kitchen back together again. then getting on with revision. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
I'm looking forward to my week off - so lots of washing and ironing today in preparation for packing tomorrow. Isle of Wight watch out - Sharks on Tour!
