    Morning all

It’s so DARK here!! Waiting for the promised rain and storm to hit....

It’s work day again and promises to be busy. I need to achieve my work to do list today so that I don’t start stewing about it over the weekend. So it will be head down and someone else can make the coffee!
HHI done. Various instructions given to DH regarding dw, wm and basic shopping from Mr M as he is finishing work at lunchtime. Success in all 3 errands not guaranteed.
I need to drag DD from her books for today’s exams then it’s to work via the petrol station.
Have a lovely day all. X

Hello all. One shift of paid stuff done, dailies except dog walking are done also. Have someone calling shortly, house is ok, but will see what I can do from the list.
Spend less now, work less later.

Feeling so slack.. Still not 100% recovered from this bloomin lurgy, boy has it lingered.
    Dishes WULTD
DS2 being rude and annoying this am, I know he too has the lurgy, it’s not an excuse to be an arsehat to everyone though is it! Currently grumping and whining that he’s been told to clean up the kitchen as he cooks. Trying to be  and not lose the plot..
Need to vacuum the whole house and attempt a clear out as I feel too much has been coming in & not enough heading back out..
It’s throwing it down here, cold and windy too so not lending much to my motivation, I know I need to get on with things.. yet really want to curl up with tea and a book.:o

HHC 5: WM2 into TD. TD load ironed and put away. WM3 on. Post opened and junki thrown away. DD2 bed stripped, and a couple of shelves wiped.

Now to get brush to sweep up under bed including dead shrew/mouse. Bin bag filling up nicely.

Has anyone heard from Lamewolf lately? I know she only posts occasionally now, but it's been a while.
Good luck with the interview, Jojo.
... cat pee cleaned up ....

There's a lot of dogpee being cleared up here day in day out. I've started anew with another training programme to see if we can solve it once and for all. We're at the stage where she thinks being given chicken chunks on walks is random and is now starting to look for them, so that's progress. We've still got a long way to go, though. In every other respect she's the perfect dog, but the carpet by the back door is getting a soaking every day at the moment, occasionally twice a day and that can't go on.

Photographs have been chucked, not sure how many. Not enough, basically. I need to get rid of hundreds and it's hard. Is this one better than that similar one, oooooh look, wasn't Diddley the sweetest little thing etc etc etc. And that's without starting on the albums, this is just the loose ones from the last 22 years.

House looks bearable; the stairs need doing and I've got a load of dog towels in the WM despite the weather because they'll be needed again if Layla leaves my sight for three minutes and nips downstairs again.
    Better is good enough.
