Morning all
Ouch ASB.
Hugs to dancemum.
Errands this morning while I’m waiting to taxi DD back and forth. Then I’ll see what day is left to do some flying. I’d also like to clear the small sewing pile in the DR and some paperwork.
Have a good day.0 -

Big disappointment here, read today's list as Thumping Thursday and then remembered we were only Tuesday, what a shame.
I normally have Tuesday morning at home but am going into town earlier today as need to go to bank and insurance office and will then go into work to write up my end of year evaluations (yeah only 2 weeks left for me) and prepare (try and find some ideas) end of year parent presentations! I will probably end up with the usual songs for the little ones (3 - 6) and role play fot the bigger ones (7 - 10), anything to get them to speak (foreign language) in front of parents!! At this time of year I start thinking I won't do it again next year, it's not worth it, it's too much hassle and commitment but then I love it too and I work with my best friend so we have loads of fun.
Slinky is back on here, I stood on the scales yesterday, oh dear. Yesterday went ok including no wine so that was good, although easier as OH was away. Diet friendly meals planned for today and I'm not home until late so hopefully can sit straight down to eat rather than have a glass of wine first. If I can get through this week it will then be a bit easier as OH will be away during the week and I will be running around trying to get DD2 ready to go away. I will get back into my summer clothes!
DW loaded
Kitchen cleared
Bathroom man arrived (hopefully last day today)
Going to put WM on, have another drink, make lunch and head into town.
Have a nice day all.0 -
Morning all (just).
Didn't get much achieved yesterday. I was just too tired. Not feeling much better today but I have work and a Mr A delivery due any time. I think I'll finish at 3pm today and then chill in front of the TV. Very easy tea planned for tonight so I don't have to worry about that.
I brought the washing of towels forward to today. A bird got one of the ones on the washing line yesterday so I've just grabbed what was in the basket and put a load on. I think I'm going to buy more flannels & towels as part of the bathroom make over so we can have one in use, one in the wash and one clean ready to use each, plus double the number of flannels!!
Time for my list. So far today I've dealt with a batch of dishes, posted the menu plan for the next two weeks on the fridge, updated my bujo, all my dailies upstairs while I was on the phone to a customer and I also managed to hang up a washload on the maidens/hangers to dry almost one handed while still on the phone :j That's probably why I'm tired :rotfl:

Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Hi all
Full morning of paid stuff, having a quick break for lunch now.
Need to sort washing done this morning.
Will s/s en suite now
Haven’t sorted the stuff for the charity shop, will have to try and get out to garage sometime later!
Also need to sort through some of my cleaning products, realised yesterday I have half used bottles where I have switched over to something else... not very MSE so will put them towards front of cupboard where I can see them before I go and buy more!
Back later for a further update, bye for now x0 -
Some kitchen and dailies done. Grass cut. Off to vets now.Spend less now, work less later.0

Errands run in town for DH and DD. Crossed something off my Toots list too. Small grocery shop done.
Picked up DD then trekked to the allotment to plant the left over tomato babies that were getting too big for their pots. Just finished and made it home before it poured. I’m now watching the rain hammering on the LR window while I revive with a cup of coffee.
Grrrrrr - forgot to drop the cs bag in this morning. DH will have to do it next week.0 -
it's been a surprisingly productive day in Villa Valli
Fruit bowl found to be full of bananas which were about to go over so they've been turned into fat free banana cake which I will take into work tomorrow.
Kitchen cleaned
Bathroom cleaned
Various errands done in town (I wait until free resident's parking at 3pm) including identification of potential retirement gift for colleague - first spotted a couple of years ago but, thankfully, still in stock (jewellery).
Fresh ingredients (other than beef and onions, which I already had) bought for SW stew, currently slowly simmering. I had ALL the herbs/spices to hand! Slinky is back on. Chunky's easier but hey ho.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
