I've tidied up throughout (ignoring dish mountain in the kitchen), washed the throws and started trying to sort out a Mr A delivery for tomorrow. I just can't concentrate as I've got football chants going round my head and even listening to my music hasn't helped. I think I'm going to go have a nap on the sofa, making sure the sound is up on my phone with an alarm set for 1pm and it's on the other side of the room :rotfl: I'm sure the dog won't mind snuggle time either as he's spent most of the last half hour I've been at the desk trying to climb up on my lap or 'hug' me. I wouldn't mind if he was a small dog, but a border collie is a bit big to work around or fit on my knee :rotfl:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0

Hello
I should be in but not much got done today and probably won't tomorrow as trying to understand and sort out admin and insurance issues for DD2 who is doing an internship abroad in less than a fortnight.
Here in France you are covered for your journey to and from work by your employer, but not in other country so need to sort out insurance for accidents to and from work (personal no vehicle). Guess I'll be sitting in the insurance office for a while tomorrow morning. Uni needs a piece of paper saying she is insured before they will issue her internship documents. All made even more complicated by her being 800 km away and having exams this week.
House is still reasonably tidy, new bathroom should be finished tomorrow or Wednesday (happy dance), so will then be motivated to spring clean upstairs and declutter out bedroom.
Time for a cup of tea in front of equivalent of GBBO professionels and it's chocolate challenge.
Have a good evening0 -
One load through DW and put away.
Greenhouse checked.
Bird feeders filled.
Been to zumba and body balance.
Finished, checked and emailed a report.
Got paperwork ready for my scheduled 2 assessments this week plus an extra one tomorrow to cover for another assessor who is ill.
Started another report.
Had a drumming lesson.
Went to Tesc0.
Various gibble put away in kitchen.
Ditto in bedroom.
Had various inane 'conversations' with yet another person purportedly interested in the TV I'm selling. Oddly the same location as the previous one who seemed to string me along for weeks then disappeared. Actually loaded the TV into the car to deliver after my lesson, but she seems reluctant to give me an address, so how she thinks I can deliver it is anyone's guess. Now dragged it out of the car back into the hall. Got upstairs to find another message from phantom buyer 1 who has been in hospital so hadn't contacted me.
I need to do more of my online course tonight as I think free access to it expires tomorrow midnight.
Also need to do a final 'house check' as I've been doing my usual multi-tasking while Mr N has been visiting his brother, which means I have started lots of things but not finished all of them.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

Had a busy day at work juggling jobs. It was a quick and easy tea tonight which was polished off. Makes me wonder why I feel that I always have to go to so much effort to get meals on the table. I’m about to plan a few meals so quick and easy is about to become a Monday night feature.
Kitchen given a s&s after dinner, bins out ready for the morning.
I have to pick DD up again tomorrow after an exam so I’m going to write an errands list now to make the most of the waiting time that I have to waste.0 -
Morning all
Lounge and stairs looking pretty ok as I hoovered last night for visitors. Not having a day off though!! Have some stuff left in the garage which we didn’t get to during our big sort out the other week so am going to take some stuff to charity shop. May need a couple of trips but can at least make a start today.
Working from home, need to take DH to drop car for MOT first, will probably put a load in to wash while I do that, will have to plan out rest of day once I see what paid stuff awaits.
Shower and breakfast first.... have a good day all0 -
Morning all,
Thank you for the lists. Bonkers busy as usual. Also stood on something last week (not a bee, I didn't see a wasp around either) and my foot itches like hell and there is a red patch, so today's task is to try and get a doctor appointment in and amongst working 12 hours...
Off to drink my brew and put some war paint on have lovely days all x0
