It’s working by text and via MyEE for EE.

Can’t seem to find it on their app or the mobile version of MyEE... care to direct me? Thanks :rotfl:
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

I don’t use the app, it’s in MyEE using my iPad, navigating from “MyEE Mobile” to “Account Settings”.

Clicking on the “Get your switching info” button gives me my final bill amount.

I found it in the app too eventually. It’s hidden away under account settings..... sneaky!!

Does anyone know if the new system applies to the following scenario?

I pay 5 different bills at present, all of them are on the types of contract where the airtime is effectively a 30 day rolling contract and the handsets are on separate credit agreements, with their own separate Direct Debits. (e.g o2 Refresh)

Is it possible for me to close the airtime contracts via this new SMS system and continue to just pay the credit agreements?

Read your terms, I seem to recall you have to pay off the handset agreement in full if you terminate the airtime agreement.

If you have 28 days left of a 24 month contract will a PAC end the contract ETC/ETF free if used on the 29 day or do people still have to call EE to put in a notice period and the request a PAC from them?

Has anybody got any help with the above issue as my 24 month contract ends 7/7/2019 and have been looking at getting a 1 month rolling sim only deal as i dont want to commit to another 2 year deal as the S8 does me fine.

Obtaining and using the PAC will terminate your contract without any need to call and give notice. You will be informed of any outstanding charges payable including for notice period.

EE are also likely to call and ask what SIM only plan you intend to move to and offer you a discounted deal to match it, so it might be worth waiting for that before signing up for a new one.

I know that I am still 'in contract' with Tescomobile, and have no desire to leave as the service is excellent but I thought that I would try the system out.
When I sent INFO to 85075 this morning, I immediately received a text back, asking me to ring them about my switch !!!!!
I thought part of the idea with this new system was to save you from having to talk to your provider !!!

That is the wrong number, it should be 65075, or was that just a typo?

As I read it, 85075 is for getting information about your contract - 65075 is to receive a PAC when you want to keep your mobile number.
