I o think that it depends on which one you go to. We are quite lucky where we go, although food can take a while as there isn't enough staff.
When we have complained I have asked for a refund they have given it to me, sometimes for the whole meal not just the item that was incorrect/cold etc.January Grocery 11/3740 -
Be fair-where can you get 2 meals for £6, plus beer for £1 a pint, if you want a posh resturant, go to one, not Weatherspoons, yes somtimes the chips are cold, but youll get that at Beefeaters and similar places at more than twice the price.
The two Weatherspoons we vist have been very good-great value, Most Pubs you have to pay first for food.

There's a reason its cheap - it's microwaved by incompetents and I wouldn't say beefeater is that good either. I reitterate - find a decent privately owned non chain pub.0 -
I would agree some branches are better than others. I've had mixed experiences there - some meals have been lovely, but recently I got sausage and mash with cold peas, which were wrinkly and hard like bullets?!0

thats why I said do a bit of research....
If you look around you'll find places (yes not the same price but not stupid money) with far better kept beer and far better food. But if you're too lazy to do that then by all means enjoy your cheap manky food - it's not money saving if you don't enjoy/eat it.0 -

Found a marvelous place in Ayr scotland. It is an old pub called the Swan and lovely meals with a cup of tea or cappucino for £4.50 for seniors. It is not 2 for 6 quid but worth every penny of the difference. I would rather go there once a month than weherspoons every day. All home cooked meals and lovely desserts too. If anyone is in Ayr it is across the old bridge and plenty of parking there. It is a lovely wee place and the owner and another staff member run it. Give it a try and tell them the Welsh lass sent you. Taffy0

The Swan is great here, so's McCabe's, it's BOGOF all day every day, meals are around the £8-12 mark, but divide that by two to get the true price. Home made food, and you come out stuffed!"Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, But beautiful old people are works of art."

OMG kim, dont ever go to the one at Tilgate park then!
Me and my friend went there about a month ago, the ball pit was shut, we waited ages for our food, the coleslaw was just shredded cabbage and carrot with next to no dressing, the chips were cold and the salad in the burger was old _pale_:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0
