I think gc was just explaining why they are no updates. No Internet connection, no updates.
But you are right, you don't need it, as that isn't the install that you will be utilising.0 -

There should also be a Delete link on the Postimage website amongst all the other links produced. Copy and paste that and choose to delete the picture link completely0

As I suspected, the device has an embedded licence for 8.1 Professional. So provided that it hasn't been deactivated, we can use it to install Windows 10 Professional instead of the lowly Windows 10 Home.
Of course we don't know how many thousands of people are now trying that with your key. :eek:
If it doesn't work, at least you can still use your Windows 10 Home key.

okay, when i first put the usb in the pc recognised it and said it had no drivers on it, now i have downloaded the driver, the pc is no longer recognising it, its not even showing up in hidden icons for when you need to use the remove safely bit. have removed usb and tried in back of pc but still no go.0

Downloads\rufus-3.6.exe' doesn't look like an ISO image
Disk image analysis:
Image does not have an x86 Master Boot Record
so trying to use rufus3.6 and its not able to find an iso image. the info is above from rufus showing the problem. i tried with the rufus portable version as well and the same. and now i am stuck what to do.:mad:0 -

You run RUFUS and point it to the Windows ISO file.
Or use the Microsoft tool to create a Windows 10 USB installer?0
