Ha ha... I take too many photos of DS and DD sleeping.  It's a similar thing!
Rest up and drink plenty of water with the booster (apparently).  I felt rubbish for a while and I think more people were hit by the booster than the others.

  • Hi Jessy Hope all is well with you - i am the same with phones - i cannot use one until it has a case on it! I am so clumsy -eg i spilled coffee all over the desk at work the other day  :o I couldn't do anything straight away as was on a training meeting online - i was just using paper to push the lake of coffee away  :D

Thanks Jess! The booster did indeed knock me on my bottom! I ended up finishing work Wednesday lunch and then pretty much sleeping until Thursday morning, when I woke I was absolutely fine. Very bizarre!

Omg stripey! You do sound like me! I once dropped my phone in my tomato soup on a lunch break at work. I fished it out quickly so it worked fine but as it was a white phone it had an orange tint for the rest of it's days 😂

Well, thank goodness it's payday. It feels like January has lasted an age!
£100 allocated straight to savings and a £256.87 overpayment made to the mortgage. The total now being £51,400.

The car has finally had it's new part fitted and is back on the road. Our first trip out will be to W1ckes tomorrow. My aim is to get the bathroom sorted, so I will be buying some boxing,so the pipes where the new boiler has been fitted will no longer be showing, a length of skirting board to replace the one that was rotten due to leaky old boiler and some paint to redecorate. New blinds will come later on when the first bits have been completed. I've got Monday and Tuesday off work, so its the perfect time to do it.

    Have a great weekend x

Hi Jessy, sounds like a breakthrough if mil is sharing her discount 😆 mines finally mellowed slightly after 25 years she’s not quite so rude! I’ve also been decorating this weekend, there must be something in the air 😬

Oh NG! You deserve a medal for putting up with that for 25 years or better yet a huge reward 😂

The bathroom is all painted! Woohoo! It looks so much better now it has proper bathroom paint on, instead of the horrible matt, chalky paint the previous owners used. All that is left to do now is paint the new length of skirting board, cut to size and fit, seal around the windows and skirting board with the white sealant I 'borrowed' from work and buy and fit new blinds.

I went to the dentist yesterday and unfortunately have to go back for a filling to be replaced in 2 weeks at the cost of £65, but shouldn't complain I haven't had to have one for a long time and to be honest I'm thankful to have got into my dentist when I moved back here, as recently it seems none in the local area, including mine are taking new patients.

My mortgage DD has cleared, so I've made an overpayment today of £304.55, my new total is £50,800. I've only got £220 of my overpayment allowance left until it resets in June, so I will have to wait a bit longer to get into the 40s, but it's going to happen this year! 😊
