Hi Jessy
Thank you for posting on my diary. Congratulations on your engagement - what wonderful newsI'm always a fan of good news
And i seem to have stepped into a chip butty debateDefinitely a fan - although only a few times a year as we very rarely go to the chippy
I also really like chips, fish and mushy peas with curry sauce om nom nom.

I'm also a fan of chip butties - yum! 😋 (My DD has been known to have roast potato sarnies, but that's a step too far imo! 😆)

Thanks all for coming by, I never knew chip butties could be so controversial and divisive! 😂
@chicker I am quite a nerd and love playing video games on my PC. There is a streaming site called Twitch where people can stream themselves live playing video games. People can then subscribe to your channel for a price and then get special benefits like channel emotes. I know it sounds bonkers but I find the best way to describe it is like football, some people like to play it and some people like to watch it. You have your little pub teams (like me - I get in the region of 10-30 viewers) and then you have premier league teams - these are people that get 10s of thousands of viewers and make 100s of thousands of pounds a month through subs, donations, ad revenue and sponsorships. I can usually make at least £100 a month from it. That and it's great fun with a lot of food debates 😂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

First day back at work all done and it wasn't too bad! It did help that I was working from home. BF also had a good first day in his new role.
Day 4 and been getting my 10,000 steps everyday so far. Haven't cheated and attached my fitbit to one of the dogs..... yet 😂

Well done on the steps, Jessy. Same here! I don't think attaching it to the cats would have the same effect 😂Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

You're right there, vix. Cats are incredibly lazy creatures! I do relate to Garfield though, I love lasagne and hate Mondays 😂
Online T3sc0 shop done to be delivered Sunday. Under £90 as well for 2 weeks worth, after actually looking through cupboards and the freezer to get a proper idea of what we actually need 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

A productive and relaxing day here.
Washing done and on the airer drying. House cleaned and bedding changed. Outing to the chemist and shop for a few essentials, but was able to pay with the little bit of Christmas cash left in my purse, so free really!
The rest of day was spent chilling out and watching the new season of Cobra Kai on Netflix.
Garage has come back and said they know what's wrong with the car now and have ordered the part required just have wait another week for it to arrive and be fitted.
I've been really good with my steps this week and got my 10,000 a day in!

Another week done and dusted!
Last few days have been a bit of a bust as I've had a stomach bug, so haven't been able to get my steps in. Luckily I've been working from home and been able to work then crash afterwards. Feeling a lot better now though, so back on it tomorrow.
On the plus side, I received a payout of £72.12 from my streaming, which isn't bad considering I've hardly streamed the past month with work being so busy and Christmas. This has gone in the pot to be used as an overpayment when the interest gets added on next week.
I've had to buy a few bits for the dogs this month, worm and flea preventative treatments, but I've got them on subscribe and save on amazon now, so should save money in the long run.
Have a good week all x
