There was a lovely selection at the McMillan Coffee Morning yesterday and all my flapjack went so I'm taking that as a good sign. I picked a few bits but was so busy I ended up bringing a cupcake home that I didn't get a chance to eat. I donated £10, but they haven't sent the total amount donated yet so we will see on Monday.
Money has been moved into savings after payday and a £1000 op made on the mortgage, so it now stands at £10,500! That £500 is killing me to look at, so I'm going to chuck everything at it this month and hopefully get under that £10k mark before the next payday! 💪
Cleaning job done last night and customer had been given ten small bunches of flowers (he's a bit of a del boy character 🤣) so I ended up coming home with a few. I will split them up this morning between myself, DM and M-I-L.
Right, best get ready as I have two cleaning jobs this morning, then need to get showered and hair washed and house tidied before the in-laws come this afternoon.

Eon have annoyed me though, as they are putting my DD up from £80 to £105 to cover what they think we'll use over winter. Part of me is tempted to cancel it, save the money instead and then just pay the bill when it comes through!
I find no company understands how my house works and so horribly overestimates. This way I keep my cash and switching is also easy and I don’t have to wait for my cash to be returned.2025 decluttering: 5,229 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟🌟2025 use up challenge: 395🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Big kitchen declutter challenge 132/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5006 -

Thanks for all the comments, you lovely lot xxx
M-I-L was quite pleasant this afternoon and brought the anniversary card that she had bought before her holiday but had forgotten to post. She also brought a bottle of wine and then DHs card and a cake for his birthday mid October. They then paid for our meal out, which was delicious, so I can't complain really! She was thankful for the flowers I had shared out, so overall a nice afternoon/evening.
Thanks @QueenJess, I think I'll look into it a bit more. Of course you can't just cancel the DD on the app, I'll have to have a look on the laptop.
You lot are right I do need to pay £501 to get me under the £10k mark. The interest has been added on today, £39, then my usual DD payment will come out on the 1st and that will be £80. I don't think I can just get to £9,999, because I like round numbers 😅, so I'm going to work getting it to £9,950. Let's do this 💪
I have a cleaning job tomorrow, so that's a good start 🙂
@carboot_karaoke Thank you, that's a really lovely thing to say and I appreciate it x
I've always liked the thought of us all having a gofundme page that links to our diaries, we could all help each other pay off our mortgages then 😀
