That manager is just a total melon, isn't he? On the plus side, it doesn't sound like he has the brains for his comments to be malicious, more that he forgets there's a world beyond himself 🤦♀️!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚♀️🧚♀️🧚♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days

Ahh that's lovely feedback to have from your cleaning job.
Shame your manager at your other job can't be more helpful and supportive!4 -

Tuesday done. DH is feeling a bit better, but was still struggling so stayed off work again. I went in and had a meeting with big boss man. Was quite a positive meeting with some good changes for me. We'll see how it goes.
Cleaning job done as well. My customer is disabled and had a procedure done at the hospital yesterday so was in bed when I got there, bless him. Cleaned and brought a bag of his washing home to do. Will be going back on Saturday morning to change his bedding for him and also tackle the skirting boards!
Shopping has been delivered and managed to get two weeks worth for £109, including toiletries. We have a few bits in the freezer that have been hanging around so I figured if I ordered a few less meals this time, t'll force the freezer bits onto the menu.Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700

Happy Wednesday! Halfway through the week. Office job was super busy today, sometimes it's like looking after kids with the guys in the factory! 🤣
Also had a handover with work bestie. I bought her a card to let her know I'm thinking of her and also a voucher so she can buy herself a little treat while she's off recovering from the surgery. Held it together until she'd left and then me and other work pal had a little cry together, as we're both worried and going to her miss her while she's not around. The rest of the day flew by. Cleaning job done after work. I must really try and do some yoga to help with my flexibility. Cleaning skirting boards and moving a bit of furniture about and I started to feel a bit stiff getting up from kneeling.
Payslips received from work, ready for payday on Friday. It's not changed but its always nice to see. 🙂

Thursday is done. Such a busy day! Getting stuff thrown at me left, right and centre by big boss man, but it's nice because its making the day go quickly. Followed that with a 2hr cleaning job.
Tomorrow is the McMillan Coffee Morning, so when I got home from cleaning and had had some tea, I made flapjack with galaxy chocolate on top. Its now in the fridge setting and I will cut up in the morning ready to take to work.
Looking forward to payday tomorrow and getting a mortgage op done. Eon have annoyed me though, as they are putting my DD up from £80 to £105 to cover what they think we'll use over winter. Part of me is tempted to cancel it, save the money instead and then just pay the bill when it comes through!Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700

I think all the energy companies are after holding on to extra customer money. The 8 legged one tried to put my payment up 23% despite being £228 in credit. I complained and they have left it as it was; maybe because they are also dealing with the formal complaint I already have with them.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; Oct 2025 £17,799 2025 OP £2086.36/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)5
