Thanks everyone! X
We've had a nice day, took the dogs to the dog field for zoomies. Then we had a coffee and cheese scone. I had a nap this afternoon and then we've been out for a lovely meal, and as it was a Tuesday, it was their banquet night, so it only cost £15.50 each plus the cost of a drink each.
Still feeling a bit rough but still no worse, so hopefully will feel better tomorrow. The weather is meant to be horrible so we'll be staying in and having a bit of a sort. Will finally take a load of stuff to the thrift shop and then get out the new containers and start packing some stuff into those to store in my parents loft. The plan is to declutter and get rid of stuff we don't want, but then also store stuff that we don't need but can be brought back out when we move to a bigger place 🙂Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700

Thanks NG and Bee x
Well, Tuesday night I had an absolutely shocking night, waking pretty much every hour to cough or blow my nose 🙄 so yesterday was a very, very lazy day. Today, I feel a load better. I slept a lot better and my nose is clearer. I still had to cancel my two cleaning jobs, which is a shame but needs must. I should be alright to go to my cleaning job tomorrow though as I'm definitely over the worst of it.
I've been to have my hair cut today which was £41 but I only have it done every 8 weeks so I don't mind the spend. I did get told my hair is breaking a bit on one side which happens to be the side I sleep on so have been recommended a silk pillow case. I have ordered two and gosh they're more expensive than I thought they would be, but I don't mind as new bedding is not something we spend a huge amount on.
Boyo arrived this morning after DH had dropped the car off for a service and boyo picked him up to save on a courtesy car. We've had pasta for dinner and he's now gone with DH to his Karate class.
No mortgage op this week as I've not earnt my cleaning money and had a spendy day, but trying not to let it get me down. I'm just so eager to get this blooming thing paid off!

Glad you're feeling better Jessy. Don't be downhearted about not OPing this week - you do so well and work really hard and you did the right thing by not risking the health of your clients - definitely more important than money! (And you don't want to go killing them off - not good financially in the long term! 😉)Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days
