Yep! He might genuinely be poorly and if he is I hope he gets sorted, but he should really learn to read the room!
Office job done and cleaning job done. DH cooked veggie burgers with salad for tea.
Just cashed £6 out from prolific, I should really try harder with it as it can be a nice cash boost but I struggle with motivation to do surveys nowadays.Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700

You have to consider what works out as paying you best - I hope in your case its the cleaning! If I'm really busy with work, surveys slide - and that's fine - my hourly rate is considerably higher than what even prolific pay. But when it's quiet, or if I feel like it in my spare time (or sometimes when I really should be working!), I'll do some. Don't put yourself under pressure to do them - they are a nice extra if you have the time and inclination.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks ladies and don't worry I am looking after myself. I think I just feel that guilt of I should be doing something productive in an evening instead of watching TV before I start reading before bed.
Office job and cleaning job done. We had quiche and salad for tea. I've done some washing and that's drying on the airer now. We've still got the windows open overnight here but there is starting to be a chill in the air.
Only 2 days left before our week off work, not that I'm counting down 😅 Cleaning jobs have been arranged for during the day next week, so I'll have my late afternoon/evenings free. I do have Tuesday and Wednesday completely free, so we'll probably have a trip to the seaside one day and there's a wildlife park about 30mins away that I'd like to visit. Fingers crossed the weather will be OK 🤞

Thanks Beanie x
Office job done! Hooray! 2hr cleaning job done after and then we had a chippy tea.
No mortgage op today as I've had my amazon subscription of dog treats and some makeup come and then my blooming watch just fell apart, so I've had to buy a new one. It was only a £20 amazon special that lasted a few years and I've bought the same again. I won't buy anything more expensive as it gets bashed about too much and often covered in cleaning stuff!
I'm going to see my grandad tomorrow morning to do his cleaning and then there's a scarecrow competition round the village. My mum has made one, so I've been told I have to vote for hers as the best one 🤣

Would putting a wrist sweatband over the watch help protect it from damage/dirt?3

It was pretty good, cheery! Crow Scene Cleaners! Not sure what she used for the bird poo on the window 🤣🤣🤣 There were some very good ones around the village. Might do it myself when we have a front garden to put one in 🙂Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700
