Thanks cheery, Beanie and SC x
We're getting so close now, I'm so excited for Christmas and making that last payment! 😁
Office job followed by a 2hr cleaning job done today. The money has gone towards some plastic storage boxes with lids, so we can pack away a few bits and store them in my parents loft. I want to make the place look a bit less cluttered for when we come to sell it, so if its not something needed everyday, it's going away for the time being.
Some great news when I looked at the MFW2025 board. I'd put a target for this year of £10,000 and I've now gone past it, with £11,080.23! Very proud of myself, I've worked really hard for that money with the day job and cleaning jobs and I'm now seeing the benefit of it 🙂
Mortgage Balance as of September 2025 £11,700
Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000.

Thanks Beanie and vix x
Normal job and cleaning job done. I usually go to todays cleaning customer on a Saturday as well, but we've done all the extra bits that needed doing, so I don't need to go this Saturday. Phew! I don't mind doing an hour on a Saturday but it'll be nice to not have to for a week.
I've got some stuff to take to the thrift shop from my customer and from my own stuff that I've sorted out, but of course the thrift shop is only open when I'm at work 🙄 it is open one Saturday a month so I'll need to find out when that is this month so I can get rid of it all.
I think I'm becoming a minimalist because I'm cleaning other people's ornaments and knick knacks, I can't stand the thought of having any of them myself 🤣

My mom was / still is a hoarder. I spent many thankless hours cleaning ornaments and swore to myself l wouldn't be the same and I'm not, l do have "things" on display but not many, just things I'm happy to dust that bring back good memories.
I read a comment by another forum user recently saying she was going to do a full house purge to save her children doing it. I would like to think id be considerate enough to do the same for my children.
Enjoy your Saturday off xx
