Not long now though!!! Would updating your signature help, as it's a bit out of date?Jessy103 said:I'm just so eager to get this blooming thing paid off!Starting Mortgage Balance (June 2019) £72,000. Mortgage Free November 2025!4 -
Haha, very true! I did decide to cancel cleaning today and tomorrow to be on the safe side, I would feel awful if I was responsible for one of the golden oldies getting poorly!themadvix said:Glad you're feeling better Jessy. Don't be downhearted about not OPing this week - you do so well and work really hard and you did the right thing by not risking the health of your clients - definitely more important than money! I have the same dilema with a dear friend of mine who is quite poorly. It's a difficult one.

Thanks Beanie and jess x
Boyo left yesterday afternoon to go home and onto uni tomorrow, then shortly followed by DH off to his Karate training and grading weekend. It is just me and the dogs.
I've done three lots of washing so far, our bedding, the bedding boyo used and then some dog bedding. The house has been polished, hoovered and mopped and everything is nice and tidy. DH isn't a messy person, it's just a lot easier to clean up after yourself as you go along.
The cleaning did wear me out a little so after my mozzarella, cherry tomato and pesto toastie (thank you for that one QueenJess!) I had a little lay down joined by the dogs and now we're just chilling out before our afternoon walk. I had half a frozen pizza last night with a few breaded mushrooms (DH isnt keen on breaded mushrooms so they're my treat while he's not here) and so I'll have the other half and the rest of the mushrooms tonight. I'm not fussed about having the same meal two nights in a row especially when it's my favourite foods 🤣
I'm starting to get a little anxious about going back to work on Monday. The Friday before I left, myself, my lovely boss, the factory team leaders and big boss man had had a meeting about some changes happening and unfortunately, my name was put against quite a few additional duties. I have an individual meeting with big boss man when I'm back at work to talk through these, so we will see. I'm hoping it's going to be positive and maybe even a payrise, but past experience has proven more responsibilities and stress for being a hard worker does not always have the pay to go with it. The difference is, this is with big boss man and not any middle management, so it'll be interesting to see what he has to say and if what I have to say will go anywhere. I am finding as I get older, I'm quite willing to say what I think! 😅
Anyway, on a funny note, here's the mouth breather I woke up to after my nap 🤣

Not sure how much help I would be, I struggle to keep myself in order most of the time 🤣 but yes, it would be lovely if we did live closer. I could at least make us a brew and have a good natter xbeanielou said:I so wish you lived nearer to me so you could keep me in order.
