    Definitely have a go at making the soup - tinned stuff has so much salt and other additives, yours will taste much nicer!

    Freeze any leftover peppers before they go off - little bits will add up for soup (personally, I'd roast/ grill them and remove the skins and then freeze, as the flavour is intensified,) or freeze and throw in chilli, spag bol etc 

    I also hate food waste 😁😁

    This is very true vix. I've been doing a lot of carrot and parsnip soup lately, but had a tin of it left in the cupboard, so thought might as well use it. It tasted rubbish compared to homemade and even tasted like fake carrot if that makes sense? Like how crisps are flavoured but don't really quite taste like the real thing!
