I read a fair but find I can only really listen to non fiction on audio books. So autobiographies or factual books. I listen a lot whilst gardening or walking. I do have a fiction audio book on the go in the car with the kids and that works quite well.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Second day back at work done and I could quite happily do a two day week all the time, on the same money, of course 🤣
No cleaning jobs tonight, but i do have two to do tomorrow. One of my older customers (a lady in her 90s) is in hospital at the moment so I won't get to see her tomorrow, but i want to make sure I do an extra good job for when she gets out. She is on antibiotics and recovering well so she should be home at the beginning of next week.
We have no other plans for the rest of the weekend, which is probably a good thing as the weather forecast is due to be very cold and we're supposed to get rain instead of snow 🙄 It does give me the time to stream this weekend and hopefully make some more money for my payout mid January.
Both me and DH have been at the dentist this morning which totaled £53 for the both of us and we are all OK for another 6 months, so that's good news 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks both. We're lucky that we got into the dentist that my parents were registered at when I moved back here and it is an NHS one.
Two cleaning jobs done this morning, came home for a nice shower and washed my hair and then DH made me a cheese and onion toastie. We've got quiche, salad and potatoes for tea.
