Thanks MerryHen and the same to you x

Well, I made an op to the mortgage of £129.68 so it is now £23,600. That will probably be the last one until payday now on the last day of the month, Friday 31st January 😱 (We all know January feels like a lifetime!)

I have been quite productive today, I have written birthdays on to my 2025 calendar and then wrote out a majority of the birthday cards, so they're all ready to go when needed (I bought a pack of 20 birthday cards with a few different designs from amazon as it will work out cheaper than individual ones). DH was very bemused with this, but a work colleague told me she does it at the beginning of every year and I thought it sounded a good idea. I'm also less likely to forget to buy one!

I then had to do an emergency repair on one of Dog 2's toys, a cuddly sloth that he'd decided to rip the arm off. These so called indestructible toys really aren't upto scratch with Dog 2 🤣

Hi Jess, I haven't got the time to read entire diary right now but I want to. I may have some time later, but what I have read it sounds like you are an inspiration with getting the Mortgage OPs done, which of course is what this is all about, but you are really on fire with it, well done. Glad to hear that horrid bully has gone. All the best for 2025 and your goalsXX

Probably feels good to have the first day back under your belt.

What book are you on?  I’m listening to an audio book tonight. Trying to get my first book of the year done!

It is Tasmina Perry - Deep Blue Sea. I've only read one chapter so far but it got me wanting to read more! It was borrowed from a work colleague and we've swapped books before so I trust her when she says its a good one 🙂

How do you find audio books? When do you tend to listen to them? I've tried a couple and enjoyed them, but struggle to find the quiet time to listen to them and if I listened to them in bed, I think I'd fall asleep 🤣
