Well, my knees turned out to be fine, but my back not so much 🤣 Was quite stiff when I woke up yesterday but thankfully all better today.
I did some sums and worked out what is left to come out bills wise for this month and that i had enough to make a cheeky £100 payment to the mortgage, so that is now £31,300.
I've had a couple of cleaning enquiries today, so fingers crossed they will come to something 🤞. Also had a bit of an interesting thing happen at work today though. The production director who I was working for when I had the job I really enjoyed, but was taken away from me last month, approached me to tell me that a team leader in the factory had handed their notice in and that when the internal vacancy comes out that he thinks I should apply for it. I'm very flattered that he thinks I would be a good fit for the position and i really did enjoy working with the guys in the factory (no where near as much drama as there is in the office 🤣) Definitely worth thinking about, it would mean more hours, and I'm not sure of the pay though, so i will need to do a pros and cons list when I have some more information.
Shopping was delivered tonight, which prompted me to finally get the delivery pass sorted! Was not very mse of me to be paying for a delivery charge each time and I have now purchased the mid week delivery pass for £40 for the year. This should save £20 at least for the year!

Not a lot happening here at the moment. I just seem to be willing the days away until we get paid again and I can make another mortgage op. Not sure this is a good way to live but it's how I'm feeling at this moment. I want to pay off the mortgage, so I can get another house with a garden and then decide if we want to keep this one to rent or sell it to pay a chunk off the new mortgage.

Payday finally came and I am happy to announce that I am now in the 20s!!! The new mortgage total is £29,800! 🥳
I got a statement regarding the gas and electric and was £40 in credit, so I went on the website to have a look at changing the DD monthly amount, the website said 'We suggest your new DD amount be £90' which is £16 cheaper, so that's now done, but annoying that they know and suggest you pay less but don't change it automatically and instead make you do it manually, it's so wrong 😡
Still doing regular cleaning. I haven't got any new clients but that's fine because it's already hardwork doing the cleaning I have after being at work all day. I think once the mortgage is paid off and we're in a new home I can look at doing it more and seeing if I can go part time in normal job.
There is a bit of a spanner in the works. This week I found a small pea sized lump in my left breast. I got an appointment the same day at the doctors, who have referred me to the breast clinic at the hospital and I already have an appointment booked for a scan in 10 days time. I'm hoping it's nothing sinister and the likelihood is that it isn't, but I have to hope for the best and plan for the worst.
I've looked through the life insurance I took out when I got the mortgage and it pays out if the worst should happen, which would go to DH. I have spoken to DH about us making our wills sooner rather than later, as its something we should really do anyway.
I get 13 weeks sick pay at work should I need to go off for treatment. A work colleague is currently going through breast cancer treatment and she has been allowed to work at home and come in to the office when she feels well enough, which means she is spreading her 13 weeks pay over a longer period of time, so I'm sure I'd be able to do the same if needed.
I'm thinking about stocking up the cupboards and freezer, so if needed meals can just be warmed up if I'm not well enough to cook. I know DH will do everything he can if it comes to it, but I'm thinking it would be sensible to be prepared.
I'm probably completely overreacting and it will most likely be just tissue or a cyst. I've read about dogs sniffing and nipping at their owners in places where they have turned out to have cancer, but none of our 3 are showing any strange signs towards me so I'm hoping that's good news, but it has me worried and is making me think about life.
We shall see what the future holds anyway.
