Thanks all for the kind comments and advice, it is much appreciated ❤️
I went into work this morning for a meeting with my boss. I had written some notes so managed to get everything I wanted to say, said. He is going to have a chat with bully tomorrow to get their take on things and then I will catch up with him on Wednesday when I am back in the office. We will see how it goes!
I definitely am not ready to leave just yet, as much as I would like to, I don't have what i want in savings as a back up and not as many clients on the books as I would like yet. As much as I like gardening, my main focus is cleaning, so I'm hoping winter will not affect my income as much, but time will tell on that one.
In good news I logged onto my PC and found some old HMRC stuff which had my UTR number on! Hurray! That's saved me a call to HMRC, so glad I decided to have one last look. 🙂

I was just having a look at the mortgage and I have a £1000 left on my overpayment allowance until 26th June, so I've just dipped into my savings and used £500 out of that to make an overpayment. New mortgage total is £32,800 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Fantastic you have a couple of clients already, soon word of mouth will kick in and get you more I’m sure 🙂
Hope the bully gets a boot up the b@m and out of the door too they deserve it! how unhappy must you be to enjoy that type of behaviour, she must have a miserable life and want others miserable too.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁2 -
Thank you all x
I went back to work Wednesday and bully had had a talking to and was much more pleasant, actually coming up to talk to me politely, instead of snotty emails! Not sure how long it will last as we have been here before, but we will see!
I've had a busy weekend. We met up with friends and their dogs yesterday morning and had a lovely walk, followed by coffee and cake, but then got absolutely drenched making our way back to the car park. Blooming weather needs to have a word with itself! Then cleaning for a client in the afternoon, but £25 made there.
My parents lent us their carpet cleaner, so I have done the one carpet we have which is in our bedroom, but then used the handy attachment to do the sofa and our mattress. It's done a good job and they all feel freshend up. I then went and did some more cleaning for a client, which got me £30.
I then did some more cleaning and clothes washing and then promptly took a nanny nap 🤣
As I had made some extra cash this weekend and also a payout from my streaming, i made a £100 overpayment to the mortgage, so the new total is £32,700. I still have £500 left of my overpayment allowance until the 26/06, so I will have a think about if I want to dip deeper into my savings and pay off some more just to use it all up 🤔Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Thanks Beanie, me too! Its very frustrating because now I'm just thinking is all this niceness just completely fake or if she can be nice, why wasn't she just like that in the first place, so there was no need to let it get like this! I must not overthink it and just get on with my work and enjoy having less anxiety 🙂Mortgage Balance as of July 2025 £14,900.

Just catching up, congrats on making the decision, I believe it’s definitely the right one. Another category of clients to look at are full time working parents; I’m afraid cleaning is way down on my to do list. If I can keep up with the washing and keep him alive I’m winning at life 🤣 Any local nurseries/play group you could target with your leaflets?SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86[/COLOUR]:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)4
