Caterina I understand the reasoning behind not synning smoothies because you could have more than you'd be able to eat but without the fibre you get. With what you had I think I'd tend to ignore it occasionally but don't make it a habit! You'll soon know if it's going to affect your weight loss when you go to WI.

  • Hi Folks, just been reading back over the thread. What a lovely supportive lot you are. I am just about to start SW and was hoping to join your challenge. I am going it alone with the food lists so some moral support would be fab. I wanna 16lb over the eight weeks if that's okay.

Up early again this morning - seems to be every day now, think it may be because it's so light in the mornings! Even with blackout curtain linings the light still seems to come through into the bedroom!

Hoping to spend a bit a time out in the garden again today reading my kindle and topping up my tan:rotfl:.

    Today's plan:

B - eggs, bacon, mushrooms, beans, potato & onion cakes
L - pea & ham with haricot beans soup using stock from cooking the ham yesterday
D - lamb leg, roast potatoes, roasted veg, cauliflower - DH cooking most of it on the BBQ so only the cauliflower and gravy for me to make:T. (Do love that DH keeps volunteering to BBQ stuff, even things you wouldn't expect to be able to be BBQ'd, after doing a BBQ course recently)

    HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but I've got hifi bars, Ryvita, bread so if I want something I can. If I have Ryvita or bread I've still got an HEA cheese I could have with it!
    Syns - may have a G&T or 2

For a change I don't need to do damage limitation this week so I may buy some chocolate when I go shopping on Tuesday! Also might need to save some Syns for Wednesday at the hospital!

How rude of me! Welcome to the thread Eighty3Bec. As Bubbs said if you'd like to post your menu plans or post pictures of your meals you're very welcome to. Also if you have any queries just ask away, there is usually someone around to answer most of the time. Good luck with SW.

    Reporting a loss of 1.5lb

Still ended up gaining on this challenge....
I need to get back on plan for the next challenge as I've booked a holiday :j so have 12 weeks to sort myself out. :rotfl:

Think it may take more than 12 weeks though.

This is what I love about this thread. Everyone is really supportive and non-judgemental. It makes it a lot easier to stick to a long-term plan, even with the odd hiccup!
I will try to get into posting meal-plans.

    Breakfast: Fruit, granola and yoghurt

Lunch: Jacket potatoes with tuna, sweetcorn, and half a tablespoon of low fat mayonnaise

Dinner: Roast chicken (1/2 tbsp olive oil), new potatoes, steamed veg. Watermelon for dessert

I had a chocolate digestive as a snack with coffee!
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!
