Forgot to post my tea
That looks lovely.
I've decided that my portions are not big enough.
My salad would be less than a third of that plus I would have a dressing or two.
I need to review my sauce/dressings which I definitely use too much of.
Well done to the losers this week and thanks for the chart Chris.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -
curl girl I like dressings on my salad too. There are loads of Low Syn varieties available or alternatively you could make your own Syn free versions. Try googling oil free dressings and you'll find several vegan/ vegetarian sites with ideas. This is the site I use https://www.plantbasedcooking.com/oil-free-salad-dressing-formula/
Well done TTD a loss is a loss even if you had fallen off the wagon this week. Please don't cut out your Syns completely again, it's not sustainable.
Is there anything we can do to help you Beanie? The wagon will come back soon and you'll be able to get back on!
My plan for today:
B - something on toast - either scrambled eggs or beans, I'll see what DH wants
L - more tuna pasta salad (I definitely made too much!), mixed salad, remoulade. Will probably have some ham as well. Although may change my mind and bin that lot and have LO chicken & LO veg fried up:D
D - shepherds pie & veg
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - couple if I have the salad:rotfl: otherwise none

Change of plan! DH wanted beans on toast & egg & toast so that's what we had for breakfast.
Also a change for dinner tonight - I've run out of mince in the freezer, can't remember the last time that happened! So have got a couple of gammon steaks out instead and will have with chips & peas. We have Syn Free lemon meringue pie for pudding.

That sounds good! Do you make it yourself?
WI for me later. Expecting bad news on the scales. Was so pleased last week with a loss after my holiday, I celebrated with some :money: LO Easter choc. And one day turned into two, into three days
:(:(. As it has now gone (the choc I mean), can’t do any more damage but I doubt I have pulled it back enough the last few days to undo damage already done. Oh well. I enjoyed it. Line drawn.
Will report back later.
And ofcourse well done to our losers and SOTW, and thanks for new chart. New flavour peanut hifi bar will be on sale at group today, will buy some to try.

Poundsinbucks - Yes I did make it myself. I'll sort out the website and post it here shortly.

Just don't expect it to be the same as you would have had before SW! but it is a nice sweet pudding. I never seem to be able to get the meringue as good with the sweetener as with sugar so if you've syns to spare you might prefer to syn some sugar.
Although it's called Syn Free because it contains 1 Tbs of sweetener per portion with the new SW "rules" it should really be synned at 0.5 syns but the recipe is older than that.

It seems that we all had a challenging weekend diet-wise! After my Sunday carrot cake bust-up I'm doing penance on SP, it worked well yesterday with 10 syns and I'm on course today, so far so good.
WI tomorrow morning and all will be revealed. Not expecting a massive loss as I had started SW at home for a few days before the first class WI.
Yesterday was yogurt with fruit for breakfast, tinned mackerel salad for lunch, fair amount of S fruit (cherries apricots strawberries) dinner was a really tasty cheesy spinach oat bake, using all my HEXes in it and 2 eggs. Magnificent!
Today 1syn veg omelette, 4 syns (2tsps oil) 2 HEX A mozzarella salad and one pear.
Planning a nice big tofu veg stir fry and yogurt (2 syns) for pudding. Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -

Thx for recipe link denise
.
Well very pleased to report a STS this week which was a big relief to be honest! Strategic toilet visit (sorry TMI), light clothes and no breakfast to minimise damage must have helped at WI today :rotfl:. So I am now back on it and I will have a loss next week!
.
Done a big shop on the way home, so am all stocked up again with fresh fruit & veg etc. Oh and bought the new peanut hifi bar and tried one. I had it in my head it would involve chocolate (a la Reeses Peanutbutter cups). But there is no chocolate in it at all, so I was a bit disappointed. In August the mint & choc one is coming back apparently, never tried that one, so will look forward to that.
Think I’ll make some jelly with fresh fruit in, will be a nice and refreshing snack from the fridge in this sticky weather.
