You are good putting them away:T:Talthough i have lindt bunnies i have put away:A
Penny, you have got to STOP saying you have failed, you have not failed you maintained, you didn't put on. Think positive this week and have a good week x
I know what you mean but in group the consultant always asks us how much we would like to lose next week. I said I would be thrilled with half a pound loss to get to my 1.5 stone award and I didn’t manage even that! A lot of people say 2, 3 or 4 lbs and they achieve it!
If I ate junk all week and cheated then fair enough. But I have cooked nice healthy meals all week, I never eat bread or biscuits or pastry. I only have skimmed milk, I eat loads of fruit and veg and salad.
I went out the other day with a friend and just had coffee despite there being cakes, scones etc available. I have not had any kind of takeaway since last Xmas so I do have willpower.
It’s just disheartening sometimes.0 -

Just say i would rather not set a target then i won't be disappointed;)
Try mixing up your meals only eating speed f&v and not free veg, cut carbs ie pasta/rice/potatoes and drinking more water/NAS and see if that makes a difference

Hello all
I’m back for the 100 billionth time :rotfl:
So.... I have to be good. Very good. I have a wedding dress to get into
I was 16.5 stone when it was bought last year and it fit like a glove. Problem is I’m now 18 stone 11- go figure
I booked and put the deposit down on the ceremony the other day- we have a firm date, 15 February next year. So in that time I need to lose about 2.5 stone. I do have some wiggle room as it has a corset back so I think my maximum is about 3 stone but definitely no more as although it does need altering (too big on the shoulders) I don’t want too much doing to the dress.
I’m off on holiday in 4 weeks  We are self catering so I have no excuse really but a holiday is a holiday and I’ve decided just to have the odd treat instead of going off plan all week. I’ve meal planned for the week and allowed for treats. I also have my hen night in July- that will be another toughie!
I’ve lost 4.5lbs so far. I started back before Easter but then had a family emergency which led to me falling off plan, but I pulled myself round and lost 5.5lbs doing my ‘first week’ I put on last week as I found myself unexpectedly away last weekend- but it was only a 1lb. I’m doing another ‘first week’ this week and hoping for another good loss. Myself and my friend are attending group together for moral support which is great- weigh day is now Wednesday evening.
Saturday’s food:
B: HEB Porridge with HEA milk, blueberries. Coconut water (3.5)
L: Large turkey and ham Subway salad (1.5 for a tiny amount of sweet onion sauce) Crisps (5.5) water
T: LMc ROaR sausages, roasties (5) salad. Ice lolly (3.5) water
S: Chicken drumsticks, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (I was really hungry for some reason!) water
Syns: 19
Hope all is well with everyone xx*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Welcome Back MrsR.
It's really spooky but I thought of you just an hour or so ago when I read the Tigers score from yesterday in the newspaper.
Many congratulations on your coming wedding:T. How exciting!! Knowing how disciplined you've been over getting into ball gowns in the past I'm sure you can do it for your wedding dress.
We're on holiday in 3 weeks time. Are you self catering? We have an apartment so we do our own breakfast and then eat out. I'm planning to take some Ryvita with me to help keep me off the bread.
I had a very low syn Saturday for me (alcohol free:eek:) so this week won't need the usual strict reining in. I had a NSV too as I was able to wear my slimmest skirt which has a fixed waistband and tight underskirt with absolutely no 'give' at all. I certainly can't wear that on 'fat' days.
I'm going a bit mad on Speed today. The pork is cooked on a trivet of veg (carrot, onion and celery) and then I've got loads more but I'll use the LOs for lunches. I'm counting the potato salad as free. I made 1kg of potatoes for last night's supper (2 syns for the lot) and this is what's left.
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast with baked beans, fried egg, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, potato salad, picklesJO roast pork, SW roasties, carrots and BNS, swede & carrot mash, cauli, broccoli, kale, cabbage, onions, celery
Syns: HM gravy 4? weekend wine:j0 -
Afternoon all

Welcome back Mrs R, was thinking of you the other day, wondering if the date had been set.
For the slow losers, do what I do and take heart from Denise, she has always said it was slow, but got there, going to think of myself as the tortoise in the race with the rabbit. I will get there.
I have also realised that although the scales don't appear to be in tune with my thinking on loss, my body is. One of the girls in group, who is an inspiration as she has a raft of health issues but still continues to fight the battle, asked me if I had lost a lot as I looked so much thinner, and I was speaking to someone yesterday who I have not seen for about 6 months and the first thing he said was, "you have lost a lot of weight!, so the body shape is changing even if the scales are not saying the same thing.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
