Hi Sary, I have IBS and a few intolerances. Coffee isn’t good with IBS, causes me pain/noisy tum. Gluten intolerant so same symptoms as well as toilet issues :o Have you been tested for coeliac?
Over the counter meds for IBS help too!

Hi TIE, I've not been tested, as this doesn't happen all the time and I've never been quite sure if it's a particular thing I've eaten, or a combination of foods that don't mix well, a bug! What I do seem to discover is that when I'm following SW plan and eating fresh food, healthy food, low fat and low sugar food, it doesn't seem to bother me as much. Previously several vegetables seemed to play havoc with me, but I seem to tolerate them much better if I'm not also eating bread, high fat or sugary foods.

Yesterday was a busy one, so didn't get to post. Shopping in the morning and gardening all afternoon. Got lots done, and felt knackered by the evening.

    Meal plan Sunday:
    B - banana & 0% fat greek yog with passion fruit (1.5)
L - omelette with mushrooms, spinach, bacon, cheese HEA1
D - SW chicken chow mein with broccoli, bamboo shoots, peppers, water chestnuts, etc.
    HEA2 - milk in tea/coffee
Syns - decaf americano with pouring cream (2)

    Today's meal plan:
    B - banana & 0% fat greek yog with passion fruit (1.5)
    D - lettuce, cucumber, peppers, carrot, sweetcorn, smoked ham, dressing (1), wm pasta;
0% fat greek yogurt, mango & strawberries
    snack - apple
D - HM cottage pie:LF beef mince, stock cube, carrots, peppers, peas, mushrooms, onions, baked beans, spinach (my new secret ingredient), seasoning mix (1), mashed spuds with milk from HEA, butter (1)
    snack - 2 x Ryvita HEB with spread (2)
Rest of HEA is milk in tea/coffee
Have had only 2 coffees today, only one of which was a stronger one.

Tummy has fully settled down after Thurs/Fri/Saturday thankfully.

One final thought on my gastric issues ;) I also find that I can be affected by a wastband pressing against my stomach, or if I'm leant forward. This isn't all the time though.

Hope everyone is doing OK. Bubbs I really do like seeing the pictures of your meals and what you've cooked. I was determined to have a cottage pie after your picture last week.

I bake them on the grill pan, so any juice drips through the racking

Something else to go on list of things to try, would do them in airfryer ;).

I added some grated butternut squash to my crustless quiches, even more speed. DD has requested a veggie version but with no mushrooms :rotfl:.

    Poundsinbucks x :)

TTD what a thoughtless, flippant comment for someone to make! Sorry to hear things are tough atm, but keeping on track with SW is a way to have some control of your life when the rest of it may feel lacking. You can do it!

Morning lovelies, it’s such a gorgeous sunny morning here. Far too nice to be going to work in a windowless office.

Meal plan today is already worked out :T

    B - banana & apple, fat free yogurt (1.5)
L - mixed salad, savoury rice & ham with dressing (2)
    D - LF sausages (2), mash, onions, mushrooms, beans. Gravy/ketchup (2)
    HEA milk in tea/coffee
    HEB none planned as yet

Catch up with you all later. Have a great day :p

Think I have gone wrong with the scotch eggs which are in the oven.....they look like emu eggs, looked at Book of Non online and did this with br bread crumbs, then looked at The Clueless Cook and she was also using 500gr pork mince and only when you get to the end of recipe does it say make 8 balls of mince............I have made just two. Who makes 8 scotch eggs !!!!!

I have made scotch eggs so many times in my life and really don't see how I could cover this mince over 8 eggs, maybe 3 or 4.

Rather than in the oven for 25 mins think they may need a wee bit longer:rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure how to syn these and way in tomorrow.

That was a thoughtless comment TTD but try not to let it worry you. You've really cracked SW, you know what you're doing and proved that you can stick to it through thick and thin (excuse pun;)). Do you think your smaller loss was because of syns or maybe a bit of a plateau close to target? :)
