Will Brexit happen?

AFAIK it was the EU that set the October deadline. Someone from Europe may have initially suggested a June 2020, but I think in the end they figured that settling the issue one way or another before they return to work was for the best.
They might extend if the government gets taken down in the mean time, otherwise I don't see it.
Not they might, but they already offer to extend it unilaterally without UK even ask for one because now they could see that they are dealing with a completely different government, the current government is not bluffing but determined to leave By october 31, 2019 without the deal if the EU do not want to revisit the WA.
Compare it with Theresa May, the main difference between BoJo and TM is that TM never put it on the negotiation table that UK is preparing to leave without a deal by the deadline. This make the country a laughing stock by the EU. Also it makes TM to be voted as the worst PM, the worst negotiator.
Keep in mind the damage of Brexit is not just affecting the UK but also the EU. But EU is not a country while UK is a country. The burden of no deal could not be equally shared among other EU members.
Ireland and the country who depend on the EU subsidy will suffer the most, considering UK is the second net largest contributors to the EU coffer and will hold the EUR 39 bil.
Good to see what a country like Ireland have done with the possible food shortage, and disruption considering 85% of their import export will depend on the UK port.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-44657460
Moreover, to substitute 85% of the port you rely on for your export import in a very short time is unthinkable if you will have a headline deficit in the region of -0.5 percent to -1.5 percent of GDP.
“Under the disorderly Brexit scenario, this could involve a headline deficit in the region of 0.5 percent to -1.5 percent of GDP for the next year, depending on the magnitude of the economic shock.

The day before Yesterday "No" still lead,
If you are betting those remoaneers will be a loser again.
Glad to see that finally someone is willing to take UK out of the EU with or without the deal.
It is absolutely the right decision to go for a no -deal.
- The current deal would tie the UK to EU rules and regulations indefinitely.
- It would mean the UK will become a vassal state subject to rulings from the ECJ.
- It would hand over trade policy with no democratic accountability.
- Even worse, the UK would become the EU cash cow without any voice give some £30bn of taxpayers’ money without getting any agreement over the long-term trading relationship.
For no-deal Brexit Blame the EU.
Any PM signing the UK up to TM deal would likely be harshly judged by history and might face charge as a traitor. Keep in mind in the past there is a move to charge TM as a traitor.
Perhaps the only thing to be said for the Agreement is that it will unify Conservative and Brexit party. Brexit party have mentioned will be willing to work with conservative to deliver brexit.0 -

Well RUBBISH RESPONSE
And who said it is truly scientific, rigorous statistical analysis, involving an entirely accurate representative sample of the electorate ??
This is an MSE poll which I believe was created by an arch remoaner. Many MSE here are more interested in money then politics. But this vote is a good tool to see the Remoaners reaction, at least MSE here could see who are the loser again .....   :eek:0 -
Well you fairly leapt to accept it as some kind of revealed truth.
The word rubbish referred to the idea of Teresa on a treason charge, which is indeed rubbish.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0 -

Well, I've been called some things in my time...0 -
Brexit is probably less likely than it was prior to all this Boris nonsense. The latest absurdity will concentrate minds among the opposition and more importantly the saner Tory mps, leading to Boris’s early departure from Downing Street.“What means that trump?” Timon of Athens by William Shakespeare0

Germany attributed poor second quarter data to lower exports to the UK, rather than the US/China spat. The tide is going out.0 -

I haven't seen that, can you point me at that?the current government is not bluffing but determined to leave By october 31, 2019 without the deal if the EU do not want to revisit the WA.
Or Boris Prorogued parliament to force them to call an election so he can save face, while also delaying brexit. We have a PM whose words are meaningless.
Meanwhile the EU is standing for their principles & won't be swayed by these playground tactics.Thrugelmir wrote: »Germany attributed poor second quarter data to lower exports to the UK, rather than the US/China spat. The tide is going out.
I don't need to remind you that leave voters knew they would be poorer and were happier with that. The EU don't want to lose money, but they are prepared to stand up for their principles. Your bully boy tactics aren't going to work. Many MSE here are more interested in money then politics.
Hatred of foreigners seems to override that in quite a few though. It's a much more complex issue than you realise.qwert_yuiop wrote: »Brexit is probably less likely than it was prior to all this Boris nonsense. All that matters is we can stand with our heads held high afterwards. The brexit buyers remorse will kick in soon enough.0 -
Well, I've been called some things in my time...
Good to know that.
What about losers how many times just Brexit alone, including the vore in this thread ??qwert_yuiop wrote: »Well you fairly leapt to accept it as some kind of revealed truth.

Reread ...
People were calling TM to be charged for treason not me. It is on the newspaper.. Now find out your self where they are.
This Vote, I believe was created by an arch remoaner hoping the proof his/her believe, well wrong at least until today. Loser in the past, loser again.
Will you acknowledge that MSEr believe that Brexit will happen, you have better be well prepared for it, here is what you might need to know for prepping ...
