I have done quite a lot (decluttering/ some cleaning), hurt in lots of places, very tired but a little disappointed not to have done more. Think I will recover from my current aches and pains but risked putting my progress back if I had continued.

The cleaning isn't visible - well it is but by the absence of dirt, grime and mould, keep telling myself how clean the skirting boards are looking but can't get excited about it.

Tomorrow will be spendy because I want to buy a deck scrubber if I can find one - it will be lighter than a mop and less trouble than getting down on the floor to attack the problem areas. Need to clean the fridge that is being donated - I moved the little table and got the fridge out but don't want to put the new cube unit in until I've got the floor done.

I have about 3 pages of epilogue to go and will have completed Book 5 of A song of ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) but it's actually the seventh book because books 3 and 5 are in two parts (still quite chunky so had to be split up). Started to read them a while since but the library didn't have a complete set.

Today I am grateful for everything I have done (just too tired to appreciate it properly atm), for easy food from the freezer and for larger puddles of space appearing.
My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.

Toni'sfriend I'm reading Bloodstone by Paul Doherty

Make a budget and stick to it Some unplanned spends since my last post including some shorts for the gym for DH and some plants/shrubs for the big piece of the front garden DH cleared last year (!). We have also agreed to increase our personal spends to include our phone bill, spending money, gym and alcohol. This will start when DH free gym expires which will either be 4 weeks or 14 weeks depending on if he achieves the weight loss required to qualify for the extra 10 weeks.

We have also contacted a couple of cleaning companies to give us a quote for a weekly clean. Something had to give and it was either me or we keep living in squalor.:o I do feel guilty about this, I do know how to clean after all. It is being funded by DH cutting out the booze and our decision not to drink at home.

Enjoy the month Run/bike ride with DH and DS yesterday. Planned walk for today has been changed for gardening and housework :(

    ReadNearly finished my book
Reduce, reduce and reduce some more
Processed Food and Booze - No booze, have had a frozen pizza, some Tyrells and a Snickers this weekend. I had a mad craving for a snickers for about 3 days. Don't know why, never eat chocolate bars. and I can eat dark choc and nuts on the plan
Weight - I weigh myself Tuesday am, hoping for 2lbs off despite the carp I have eaten this weekend
Food Waste and Plastic - No food waste :)
Increase, increase and increase even more
Water - drinking more but still need to increase
Family Time Spent Outside - run/walk with DH with DS on his bike, dog walk with DS and will all have the dog out for an hour today
Clean Eating Meal Planning - DH has found a recipe for butternut squash lasagna he wants to try
    Move it!
Walking - No walking training done:eek:
Running - Ran Friday and Sunday. Next run Tuesday when DS is at TK
Dog Walk - Dog walked every day but Friday by me (I had overdone it on my run)
Yoga/stretch - will investigate if the new yoga studio in the village do a class I can fit in or will use the 30 days of yoga on u-toob - there are 2 yoga courses starting 8th June but wanted to begin now

Post 3 gratitudes every day -
    1. DS enjoying the healthy swaps I have introduced t his diet ( he needs to lose a bit of weight)
    2. DH realising that the walk/run plan I am doing will work for him too
    3. Colourful Hebes
    4. Feta cheese, pomegrante and walnut salad
    5. Cuddles with DS and DH
    6. The view of our front garden

No! No coffee shops etc. have been entered this week

Think of others - Will sort out some books to donate to the volunteer library to sell to raise funds this weekend - haven't started this yet

NSD - 1/16[/QUOTE] - Struggling to achieve NSD as we are eating a lot of fresh stuff and I have to keep topping it up
    Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
    Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
    Make £2021 extra income - £99.75

Morning all. Hope you enjoy the long weekend if you are having one.

The weather here hasn't been as bad as I expected, cold but dry. Cycled yesterday morning then did some DIY jobs outside, repaired a tear to DS's school blazer lining and made a pair of DD's long brushed cotton pj bottoms into short ones as they still fit but were too short. The offcuts have made 4 dusters.

All washing has been line dried. My goosberry, raspberry and strawberry plants are coming on well as is my rocket but the spinach and blueberries seem a bit sad at the moment. I need to pot on my tomato plants too.

Did an eligibility check for a Barclaycard for me to take abroad and was declined, then found that DH already had the same one that we never use so he has requested a card for me.

No spends today. OH has taken DS1 and DD back to their respective Uni cities and is on his way back. They've taken lots of food with them and left me with laundry :) (beds have been stripped and bathrooms emptied of towels/ bath mats) I've almost caught up on the ironing I had (about 5 things left) and smaller 2 have done their homework :T

Today I am thankful for my children, for being to send them back with toiletries/ food/ cleaning supplies, for a faceb00k sale, for dry weather :)

XSpender - I've read a few Paul Doherty but not that one. I'll keep a look ot for it

Did I say the Boy couldn't possibly have any more washing/ironing. Wrong. He arrived last night with bedding, towels and two jackets. Oh well, it's all done now and dried outside (after I had removed someone's washing which has been drying on my line since Friday afternoon. Another story but basically the same person who doesn't use their own bin if someone else's is closer and doesn't think to put the bins out or take their turn at cleaning the communal areas).

Himself has picked up some kind of bug and has spent most of the day in bed dosing and reading. He's not eating anything either which is very unlike him. So I didn't have a walk but I've been batch cooking, etc.

Another early night with my book. Should finish it tonight.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Today I am grateful for a quiet day, for finding fuel 3p cheaper than elsewhere, for some more sorting, for finding a wooden ornament that I hope mum will like, for planning making life less anxiety-inducing.
