Got another interview and it’s for the job I really like the sound of but didn’t think I’d get shortlisted. I’ve now got to prepare a presentation as well as interview prep so that will be my evenings gone for the next week and a half :j

Thanks to everyone for their support and good wishes :). I am now having to re educated myself in the post 16 study choices available to year 11 students (even had to google what age they are!) at the UK’s largest land based college. I’ve got 10 minutes to grab their attention, well the interview panel pretending to be year 11 students, and make them consider the college as a fantastic choice for their post 16 study. I feel a mind map/post it notes and process chart coming on along with a collection of note cards. Not only are there so many different levels of diplomas available (with very similar names) even the GCSE grading has changed and as I’m an O level girl I’d only just got my head round that! Back in the olden days when I was at school this college was where you went if you were a farming family but oh my how it has changed! Steep learning curve but looking forward to the challenge and hoping the effort will be worthwhile :D

Evening all (anyone else remember Dixon of Dock Green?). Mortgage DD went out yesterday so it dropped to £61,465 with interest charged at £141.66. This means my daily interest is now £4.58, a drop of 5p per day. I also moved my first marble! I’m working on every £500 and as it dropped below the 61,500 I moved one. Got to pay the credit card and childcare bill so need to move a few funds and tomorrow is shopping day so aiming to stay below budget.
Looks like a wet day in store so will do inside jobs which will hopefully include some batch cooking. Realised I have five tins of chickpeas in the cupboard so maybe chickpea surprise :rotfl:

My heating clicked on this morning  Done the shopping, £3 over budget but loads to batch cook for the freezer. Just done a £2 Prolific survey which will take me over the £20 mark so I’ll do a Circle payout and add that to the mortgage. Washer on although how long it will take to dry goodness knows as it’s a load of towels. Quick clean up and hoover through and really need to get a colour on my hair. Presentation still to work on, lots of info just need to put it in the right order and make it not sound so dry. Need to check out job spec again and form some answers to potential questions. I have another week to prepare and hopefully next Wednesday won’t be so cold and damp.

Going to pick the first of my rhubarb today and do a crumble for tea, fingers crossed it tastes nice and isn’t “stringy” :rotfl:
