Bought a few bits today but they were all on offer and all out of the various “pots”. Child benefit due on Monday so will move some money to savings, I like to keep a buffer in my current account just in case and then tidy it up right at the end. Off to make some chilli for the freezer and probably a cake as the boy never stops eating so at least that will be some thing else he can eat. I’m estimating that my daily interest will be down to £4.50 this month which means even with no overpayments only the standard ones by the 10th September direct debit I will have paid off £20,000 in just less than 4 years. That makes me
what doesn’t is the fact holiday club are trying to over charge me  off to send that email next.

Been a bit neglectful recently, I’m blaming school holidays. Managed to get holiday club invoice sorted, they had overcharged me by £41. Had some good news yesterday, I saw my frog
. I had imagined the worst when Hetty found half a frog on the garden path
But yesterday when I was in the garden a little froggy head popped out of the pond to sun itself
Been to the library van this morning and now just filling in a bit of time as I’ve got my interview at 2 pm. Dropping my son off at a friends at 1pm. It’s raining and my hair is frizzing but hey they aren’t going to employ me for my hair style as it’s not a hairdressing interview. I do seem to have paid out a lot just recently but it has all come out of the various “pots” and I’ve been entertaining a six year old. Weekly shop last night that came in at £28 so a few pounds over budget but cupboards are stocked with staples for a bit longer.
Well off to get ready now. This is interview number 8 in the last 18 months so I should be use to this now but tummy is still :jSPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)1 -

Hope you land the job of your dreams soon. I once had 10 interviews in a row and got turned down. I sought feedback and was told - I didn't smile enough when I was greeted or in the interview. I didn't make enough small talk on the way to and from the interview. My passion and enthusiasm didn't come across. The agency suggested to me that I take in extra copies of my CV (the interviewers had often lost them), take my certificates in a portfolio and take a pen in with me. She suggested that I treat it like a normal meeting. Just having the pen available, my CV and portfolio was enough to relax me and I got the next few jobs I went for.
On the 11th interview - I wrote down all the reasons why the job was right for me and I was right for it on the train on the way... I landed it with ease.

Thanks everybody for your wonderful support as always
. It went Ok and they seemed a really nice and welcoming place. Bit further away than I work now in mileage but only took me similar amount of time and they said they are a flexible company as they realise people have real lives. She is putting together a team of 4 new positions due to the massive growth plans the company has (its a growing new industry) so she is still interviewing. She said she would let me know at the end of next week and if she can’t give me a decision by then she will let me know how things are going etc. Just wait and see. Only in work three days next week as I’ve taken some holiday however I have my staff review on Tuesday
. Filled the form in last week and told the truth regarding the lack of support, reduction of hours of role etc so see what the feedback is like. Looking forward to next Friday though as we are going to Countryfile Live; we love a good tractor in our house!

It was mortgage direct debit on Monday and I’ve just overpaid another tenner thanks to Prolific. Mortgage now stands at £60, 341.23 and so far this year I’ve overpaid £1246. My daily interest has fallen to £4.48 from £4.52 this month so saving me 4 p a day; it all adds up. My boy won’t go to bed so I can’t clean the bathroom until he’s asleep, ah well at least I got the towels in the washer before this fiasco started, by the time he’s asleep they might have finished.SPC #023 SPC 12: £125.86:SPC 13: £214.98: SPC 14: £297.41 SPC 15: £237.27 SPC 16 £335.39; SPC 17 £662.09 SPC 18 £20MFW #21 Mortgage start Dec 2015 £79,950; June 2025 £19,394.00 2025 OP £1589/COLOR]/£2,000 MFiT T6 #3 £19070/£25,500 (72.82%%) MFiT T7 #3 £2050/£21,930 (9.34%)1
