Excuse me??? I was at work previously, hence the short reply, i was going to answer it afterwards.

MS Windows XP SP2, AMD sempron 2200+, 191mb RAM, SIS 741.
Espresso that was uncalled for, i was just following instructions on what to do and reading from something, yes Tech isn't really my "know all" but i take it your not in the know of other areas, Fashion, English Lit etc? Just as an example of course

You were asked on the first page of this thread how much RAM you have, so don't get your knickers in a twist!

Getting rid of Norton will help keep you going, but RAM for XP2 is normally 256 or 512 minimum although more is recommended. I now have 1024 and can use Norton ok ( until the freebie subscription runs out ) and then I will revert back to AVG anti virus.0
