Work has been quiet for us this week, but am sure that will change. I hope Manchester bounces back after yesterday's stabbings, and that the people involved receive the help they need. I love my home city and enjoy spending time there.
Money matters , car insurance paid in full , travel insurance paid., start saving again for next year. I have used lots of petrol this month owing to trips to the Lakes, north east and Cheshire .
I will get more salary again this month as we have had a pay rise but it's an expensive time of year. I am going to London next Saturday so have got myself a pot for that .
Yesterday my GD was a bit cantankerous, I am hoping she is better today as I have both the GKs staying tonight as it is my daughters birthday. Wish me luck with that one.
Off to get ready for shopping , need a list as well.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
Good luck tonight.
I agree about Manchester. I love it too. I did hear on the news that it was an isolated incident concerning a person with a mental health disorder rather than a terrorist attack. I hope all people involved get appropriate support and help. Awful thing to happen

Manchester stabbings were indeed awful but for the quick responses of the emergency services could have been so much worse. I too love my home town and will be visiting again very soon.
Good luck with the GK - hope they are in good spirits for you and that dd has a good birthday.
Have a great time in London next week.January spends - £587.581 -

Hope your GKs aren't as boisterous as mine were today
Awful about the stabbings in Manchester, people just shopping on a Friday, very frighteningI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
The GKs have gone home and I am having a cup of tea before I tackle the ironing. We went to McDonald's last night and £8 was spent . I don't think I ever sleep when they stay as I am constantly listening out for them.
My week coming up is pretty busy both at work and social. Am looking forward to payday on Friday.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Thank you DIA looking forward to it.
Well I seem to have succumbed to a stomach bug. Got up for work this morning but had to give the idea up. Will see how I am tomorrow , can probably do some bits from home probably a better idea.
The contractor came today about the roof, soffits etc. Hoping they get sorted in a few days just have to wait and see what the housing association say .
