Thank you everyone for your kind words . I am moving on but it will be a slow process.

Feeling very nostalgic tonight after realising I am leaving my home city for the first time in 56 years. When I say leaving I mean living . I may only be going 5 miles away but it feels very strange.

The flat is mostly empty , my other flat is getting full of boxes , suitcases and black bin bags . I have made back up plans if my suite and wardrobes won't go up the stairs at my new place. rotfl::rotfl:. I am surrounded by boxes , clothes ready to go and any number of other things.

GS wanted to buy his mum some flowers today , 5 he is , he chose a lovely bunch only £3 . He wrote her a note to go with them . She was thrilled with them.

I have lists and more lists , but I am so ready to move.

Enjoy the rest of the evening.

I don't think I can do anymore now towards moving , everywhere is empty, I only have the things I need around me. Tomorrow I will be transporting the last things to my new place . I need to defrost the freezer which is now empty . I need one more tip visit from this end .

Am completely shattered , and will probably be glad to go to work on Tuesday:rotfl:.

    Onwards and upwards .

Everything seems on track, I just physically getting tired. Muscles in my arms I didn't know I had:rotfl:.

However no complaints, I just need to get motivated for this my last push. I can't remember the last time I looked at my finances , I guess everything is ok.

Best get going , car needs loading .

That's it, I can do no more now , it's in the hands of the removers tomorrow. Just defrosting the freezer and packing last minute essentials. My broadband has gone off already , will be reconnected Tuesday . Meeting landlord back here Sunday , to hand everything over.

The new start couldn't have happened at a better time , the only downside to moving tomorrow is how warm it's going to be .
