The decorating should be finished by tomorrow evening, it makes the place look so much better. Carpets going down on the 17th , then a week to move boxes .

I have everything I can for the moment. Have been for lights for the lounge today and my bedroom.Goy them both in the sale at The Range.

Work is a little wild at the moment, school holidays are always the same.

Need to leave soon for my volunteering, then another early night I think.

All sounds like it's going well Sunshine. Also, the fact that you can put your own taste to the decoration after such a long time will make such a difference as well!:)

P.S I have to say that I agree entirely with your previous comments on social housing.

Life is daunting at the moment , I am never moving again. Decorating is done and paid for. Cooker arriving tomorrow, then a clean of windows is needed. I have nightmares every night about my furniture not fitting through doors and up and downstairs.

Today I have the GC , we are going out , it's raining but going to a play area out of town. Next week GS and myself are going to York overnight . This was planned well before the move came about. I am looking forward to it , as a little rest from the business of moving.

Best get dressed before the GK arrive.

You sentiments miirror my own after I had my kitchen replaced last year! I felt it was never going to end!:rotfl:

Seriously though you must be chuffed seeing it all come together. And everything will be nice and fresh for when you actually move in. Nothing to decorate!

Have a lovely day today with the GC.
