Well I am up to my eyes in the moving lark. I have carpet fitter and decorator coming tomorrow, everything is going full steam ahead. Today I picked wallpaper for my lounge and bedroom. I have bought a new cooker . I have other tradesmen coming in the next week or so. My son is stripping the wallpaper over the weekend. I have met my new neighbours they appear to be very nice. They have helped me out already.
I have lists everywhere and reminders. I am decluttering as I go, tomorrow my mum is helping me pack some of my kitchen up.
In other news my GS now has chicken pox but he seems ok as well, he is missing his last few days at school.
I am running around like something not right , juggling lots of balls but it's all worth it. Payday tomorrow I need to do a budget , and try and be frugal as I am paying 2 lots of rent at the moment. It is what it is I suppose.
Anyway bed time now I am shattered.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Carpet fitter been and measured up , just need to go and choose carpet now . Have packed my first box and done a massive declutter of my kitchen. Can't believe how much stuff I had . Have told my landlord here , they were really nice with me and said they will be sad to lose a good tenant.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1

Just caught up with you - how exciting about your move! I hope all goes well. Great news too that the rent is less. Well done on the decluttering. I find kitchens are the worst for hoarding all that stuff hidden away that you once thought was essential!
How nice was your landlord's comments too! Bet he will miss a lovely tenant like you!
Pleased to hear that all went well with your dad and sending god vibes for his forthcoming appointment
Hope the DGC are on the mend with their chickenpox. I remember when DD caught it she hardly had a spot - she then gave it to DSis who was about 17 at the time and it broke out while she was away in Switzerland on a school trip! She was covered in it and not best pleased!
Have a good evening Sunshine and relax a bit now.
