A lot of my fave forumites seem to be MIA , I hope they are ok.:)
Dad had his check up today , going ok but needs to go back Monday . Ready now for the oncologist Friday .
My GD has chicken pox but doesn't seem remotely bothered . I have had 3 NSD in a row , hope to make it 4. I need to send an item back tomorrow I bought on a whim, but I don't need the item so it's going back.
After reading Beanie & Greying Pilgrims thread and the food bank , I dropped of a donation today that was on their wanted list. My mum and I did the donation between us. We have decided to try and do this more regularly.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -

Good news for dad , they are taking a watch and wait view on the cancer , so he is feeling better about that. Three monthly appointments now at the hospital for life , unless they have to start radiotherapy.
The other issue that has caused me much stress has come to a lull as well for the moment , so with the lovely weather being here I feel like I can appreciate life again.
The last 2 weeks have been full on , the GK were very good on Friday night , but they are tiring they never stop moving, talking , fighting .
I must admit to having taken my foot off the pedal with the debt busting, I haven't added anymore but haven't paid any extra off. On Friday I renewed my passport on line, DS took my photo , you can use a uploaded photo of yourself to add to the application. It was very easy to do. £75.50 , then you have to send your old passport off , I sent it special delivery £6.60 . After I have my passport I will renew my driving licence online £14., that needs doing before the end of August. At least they are both out of the way then for the next 10 years.
Next Thursday evening I am off to the Lakes to attend a couple of events with my friend up there, all free to me. Accommodation is free as well, just petrol. My friends in the north east are helping out at an event the last weekend in July and have asked me along as well . Time for relaxation and hopefully decent weather.
Today I am going to see my friends sons new house , then out to lunch , in an old Lancashire mill town . The drive is quite scenic , always lifts the spirits . I have ironing to do when I get home but will see what time it is, may do it tomorrow evening as next week is fairly quiet.
Everyone enjoy Sunday.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.1 -
