Congratulations on the PB win . Hope the window issue won't be too much of a pane . You're doing everything you can at the moment .
There will obviously be days when you're trying to sort out your home and feel like you're not progressing , when in reality it's probably best to not get too put out about it . You're getting there n terms of box ticking and more . You're probably a bit tired at the moment DIA .
You're doing really well ...0 -

The window offer fell through! Waiting for a new company to quote...

It's easy to get despondant when you're tired and that's when you need a day of rest to recharge body and mind.
Good news on the PB win.

I'm not actually tired, just fed up really, but it happens sometimes and won't last forever.

I got a few hours of good creative project work done today so that is the good news.
I worked in IK3A restaurant and that went well as free refills of coffee and a good space to spread out work. It is ages since I got any work done
I found a throw in the bargain section reduced by a third. (It is washing now.) It can work on the end of the bed and the back of the sofa. It is a linen/cotton mix and very heavy. I also bought a £10 reading light so I can read in bed and cut down on screen time.
Today I am grateful for: my bargain throw, free coffee refills, my hot water bottleIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I had a manicure and pedicure at the training college. An excellent job was done, much better than in a salon and cheaper. It could be seen as pampering but the state of my hands and feet I’d say it was essential works! The girls were lovely but I overtipped as I did not have any change. Next time I must remember to have pound coins ready (I only tip when it is really good but at the colleges it usually is! Not MSE maybe but I have always done this.)
Returned 2 items by post and 1 in the shop. I am much better at returning items and getting my money back
I ended up out and hungry so I ate in Pret and got a coffee and bought the evil K crisps so bad nutrition and wasting money! About £10! Sigh.
Today I decided I need healthy food prepped so I have something to take food out with me. Decided to use what I have so I made spiced lentils, prepped a raw food box using veggies at the bottom the fridge. Grilled some YS sausages found in the freezer. Salmon in ginger and miso cooked too.
I have a quote for windows this afternoon. Yawn. Why isn't it easier to get this job done
Need to write Christmas cards for neighbours and a letter and a card for BF abroad and post that too.
WILL EAT A FEW FROGS AND REPORT BACK
Grateful for healthy hands and nails, a good night's sleep, invite to a exhibition.

Just been catching up on December, sounds like good progress made and like everyone has said the job will give you structure, hows the gym going?0

Two big frogs eaten :T:T
First I began the process of unlocking a small amount of savings. :TI have been putting this off for two months. :oI was going to cash in my PBs for some cashflow, but I like having them and I won this week, a sign, perhaps, to leave the money there.
I called the fifth emergency service after three months:eek: to address the frog in the driveway that makes my heart sink every time I pass it.
There are problems and my options are
--do the work (expensive)
--do part of the work and get rid in the Spring
--get rid of now
I’m not sure I want to be on the road that much, not sure if I enjoy driving at all, it is a means to an end. I am glad I regained this skill as it showed me I could do it if I wanted. The money I have been saving up for c** costs could be used to start an emergency fund.
I might revisit driving again in a few years if I come into enough money to buy something decent.
I litter picked my front garden In the rain! I also sorted all the bins at the front and put them at the back of the house...
I also kept my windows appointment this afternoon, so a good day overall in terms of getting things done
Edgy all daybut I feel slightly more settle for having eaten these two frogs

I have a beautiful bunch of mixed coloured tulips reduced from £6 to 60p. I also have hyacinths in 2 rooms grouped in bowls. Nice.
I stayed up most of the night watching the election. Big changes afoot.
I concentrated on an application for a fellowship that is a long shot, but I have tried long shots in the past and been successful so I am pushing on. I will leave it for the night to settle, reread in the morning and send it off. The deadline is Monday so well within the timeframe
I like the idea of being able to change my future myself rather than having outside factors changing my life.If my efforts come to nothing, that’s okay, at least I gave it a good shot
Lots of dishes, ironing and washing to be sorted this evening.
Today I am grateful for YS flowers, a reestablished friendship, and a stepping-back day today
Hope everyone is okay.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
