Hi there DIA,checking in again.
Things have moved on a lot. Great progress.
Glad you took the job. I started an additional job in November as DH is self employed and we sometimes have a cash flow difficulty. It's 8 hours a week and although going to be a bit stressful at first I know I am going to enjoy it. Had my first solo initial session on Monday and it was good.Seems to have blocked something with my thinking too. Like you said, it adds structure and something to get you motivated again. Now don't get me on IT and having access to the database etc. Oh well, it will get resolved, eventually!!!!
Sorry to hear about your health issue, but you are right about a healthy lifestyle and that goes for everyone.
Glad the gym is working out as you had doubts, although using the shower is a good enough reason for me. We will have to get our bathroom sorted out at some stage and I will have access to the gym,my husband however is not a member so not sure what he's going to do!!! The gym is being refurbished soon and all the machines updated. About time. May actually go a bit more often. Tend to stick to classes and swimming at the moment.
Glad the FROGs are gradually being eaten. I sorted one of mine recently and couldn't believe how easy it was. It's the thoughts in our head that anticipate all the negatives.
We have our work Christmas meal at 3pm today. Getting the train there and back. Been up since 5.30 as dropped DH off at the station. Need to get as much as I can before I leave.
Enjoy your unstructured day.

I think the job sounds perfect as long as you enjoy it as it leaves plenty of free time, adds structure, gives you socialising opportunities and extra cash

You are right when you say the anticipation of negatives with FROGS are often so much worse than the reality. I know that but it still doesn't seem to change my behaviour! Frustrating!
I can't get a grip on health improvements but I will get it together to improve my health outcomes. I willHairyHandofDartmoor wrote: »I think the job sounds perfect as long as you enjoy it as it leaves plenty of free time, adds structure, gives you socialising opportunities and extra cash.

I have another window company coming to quote on Thursday. The house stuff feels never-ending. I keep wanting to escape from all the demands of the house! I know I am lucky to have my own home but it is still hard trying to get jobs done all by myselfhello

So, I have an email telling me I have had a win on the PBs. :T So at least £25. This vindicates my decision to use PBs instead of a low interest SA. The problem is I cannot find my PB number in order to check the amount I have won. Does anyone know if they also write?
The silver lining is I went through all my paperwork, thinning out files and having a bonfire of old paper work
I have eaten to IF principles today and been AF, so that is good. When I eat this way I soon start to feel improvements in energy
I have had a (rare these days) NSD:money:
I’ve been feeling very unsettled these past few days. I don’t feel like I am making enough progress on the house and to be honest I’m kind of sick of it all. My car is outside my house and needs repair too. My health and my finances need addressing too. Blah blah blah. I guess I need to emerge from denial! And soon!Being a grownup is not too much fun sometimes.
Today I have been taking it gently; pottering, organising and decluttering.
A quiet evening is on the cards for me.
Enjoy your evening. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
