I feel like a mole as I have been in the house since Friday doing my fellowship application! These things take up so much time but I am pleased with myself for actually getting it in before the deadline.
I have done washing, ironing and the house isn't exactly tidy but I've know it much worse!
I have done my Christmas cards for the neighbours on my road so I will post them today.
But now I am eager to get out as there is a little sunshine outside and (so far) no rain. Although there was buckets of it last night
Making a coffee and then I will walk to the shops.
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday

Weighing up the pros and cons of the car is a great idea - you've had a good while to assess what having a car adds to your life and if the answer is 'not much' then you can give up the car knowing it's the right choice for you right now. Deal with your future needs when they arise.
Good luck with the fellowship application!Sealed Pot Challenge 075

Do you use Ube* or other taxis?
I haven't a Uber account. I tend to jump in black cabs if required when I'm in London. Also my council has banned Uber in my area so I stick with the local cab company.

Thanks everyone for your positive posts
My mood seems to be on the slide so I have kept off my diary so as not to bore everyone with my woes.
Since getting my application in I haven't done anything noteworthy.
The plan going forward is to get the house clean/washing/recycling/cooking healthy food and organising (been doing this today) Got through a fair bit, still going.
I am frittering money. A complete waste and silly. I don't mind so much when I spend on worthwhile (to me) things. I'm going to go back to NSDs with beanie's thread in January. I must get a grip as I have plans that need money. It will be a shame if I can't do what I need to/want to because of mindless frittering and spending due to lack of planning..
Told you I was in a mood

I'm much the same at the moment, feeling a bit meh some poorliness (medical, not financial) and worrying about some planned and some unplanned spending so I'm avoiding accountability by hiding.
The run up to XMAS is not the right time to jump back on the bandwagon (although I am being quite good), so will stay lurking and give myself a good talking to and then start a new diary with some new objectives. Good luck and be kind to yourself you may be setting your target to highI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

I hope you feel more positive soon DIA. I find Christmas makes me want to fritter
so it's not a good time of year to be frugal, but damage limitation is important. I'm sure in January you'll feel more motivated to be frugal. Not just a new year but a new decade!
