Morning
ziggy I was sorry to hear your health isn't right again. Hope it's sorted quickly for you x

Today:
* just about to take pup for a walk. Will do another this afternoon
* load of washing - must check forecast....
* go in to town and pick up slime making kits I ordered madam. Will do something else while there. Maybe the free museum or the big park...
* remind oh to print off pattern for me
* lunch will be use ups....
* do some sowing with madam
* have promised madam I'll make some dolls dresses for her
* have checked banking
* undercoat shelves
* cutting out pattern & fabric (& maybe sewing up cardi)DF as at 30/12/16

Morning everyone
ziggy I hope everything gets sorted and u are feeling better soon
DawnW sorry to hear u need an operation soon, hope everything goes okay for u.
Not alot going on here, trying to keep the faith.
Have very nearly finished a nightmare frog. Hopefully an email sent today should finish it off.
DD is now back home and brought most of her things back from uni with her, the house looks turned upside down so slowly putting bits away..She has a few weeks home then back for exams and another year of uni over.
Shopping bill has gone up but DD is a bigger YS fan than me, the 2 of us were in Tesc@s last night, price checking with each other whether we were getting a bargain and sorting out a meal plan
I have done a big order with Amaz@n. Made use of the summer sale and the extra 15% off so have had some really good savings. I don't like using Amaz@n so much, I like to support the high street where I can but getting the cat food sachets delivered is a bonus and I'm trying to stock up as me and DD are away next weekend and then at the end of the month I'm in hospital so at least I know the cats are sorted
Just about to put a load of washing on to go out as it looks to be a lovely day again.
Catching up on RM survey items. I can't remember who popped the phone number for them on last weeks thread but I ended up using the number and calling them so thank you.
Started to put some items on Ebay. De cluttering has come to a stop, I have been meaning to pop these items on for awhile so hopefully that will be a few more bits out of the house.
I have been working on my charity boxes. Always on the look out for bargains, have done quite well so far
I can't think of anything else.....but just remembered.....I do need to check quidco!
Have a great day everyone x.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Morning all
Sorry to hear you are poorly Ziggy - hope you feel better soon
Looks to be a decent day again, though there is a chilly wind, so the washing machine is on again, with a view to drying outside once it has finished.
I have walked the dog, prepped remaining RM survey items and replanted the broad bean plants (or those I could salvage) that I planted yesterday. Despite constructing the horticultural equivalent of Alcatraz to protect them, something had dug most of them up either during the night or first thing this morning. It can't have been the jackdaws, as they couldn't reach or get in to the structure. I am now assuming rats or mice that could fit through the mesh
Not sure whether the plants will survive, or get dug out again. Whatever it was had also uprooted a spinach plant, and they don't normally get touched. Despairing of being able to grow anything at the moment!
In frustration I have just eaten a small pack of mini-eggs received in the RM surveys mailing- I feel a bit sick now :rotfl:
Still to do:
Make banana cake Done
Washing out on line when done All dry now
Bit of ironing :eek: Hmm, not yet, but I might do it in a minute!
Ring dentist Oops, I am putting this off aren't I?I have chipped a tooth and know that a) I won't enjoy having it fixed, and b) I won't enjoy paying for it! However, I mustn't leave it, or it will be worse on both counts than having it seen to promptly!
Biz paperwork Done
Sow more leek seeds, as only 3 of the last lot has come up Done
Some cleaning - upstairs today I think! Done
Might take a trip out to do an errand that I have been putting off ... or more likely I will put it off again! I did the errand, and called into 2 supermarkets I don't normally visit, as they were en route. Didn't spend much though (as I don't need anything much)
Chopped up and froze one of the items I did buy (a large swede, 39p from Aldi)
Walk dog again later Done, managed to persuade him to go via the post box to post a RM surveys item
Listed 1 new item on ebay - must get back to doing this!
Stove alight now and am relaxing with a cuppa
Hope you all have a good day0 -

Hello Frugal Friends,
Sorry to hear your bloods are being naughty again, Ziggy. Look after yourself.
Busy day. Frugal aspects as follows:
*Use it ups for my lunch.
*'Empty' mascara tube popped in hot water first thing to soften it up for further use. Reckon there's loads in there, it just dries onto the sides, doesn't it?
*Made tomorrow's packed lunch.
*Mixed up a sourdough loaf to bake tomorrow.
*Frugal meal tonight - Fajhitas using leftover wraps I froze plus some of the refried beans I batch cooked in the slow cooker a couple of weeks ago.
*Potted up several trays of flower seedlings - all free seeds.
*Sowed watercress, courgettes & scallop squash (leftover seeds from last year) plus two other kinds of squash (seeds gifted & saved seeds)
*Had a trot round the garden getting as much weedy & too woody waste into council garden waste bin so as not to miss tomorrow's collection (there's an annual fee for this, so I want to maximise use).
*Re-read estate agents docs which arrived today re selling our old family home. I don't want to make any silly mistakes. Am fine with the valuation, but need to read a bit more about which bits need prompt signing, etc.
*Have been checking for leak under kitchen sink every couple of hours. It flooded the other day, but Mr f (fingers & paws crossed) reckons to have fixed it. Local plumber is great but £100 call out for diagnosis so we try to deal with the simpler looking jobs ourselves.
*Packed away several useful things we brought back from Mum's garden. I know she'd have liked us to use them. She taught me most of what I know about gardening.
*Prolific Academic approved another survey. I'm up to over £36 again on that now.
Must see what cat is up to. He's cross because I won't let him out of the front door, but Thug Cat is still much in evidence, so my strategy is to make it harder for them to meet. I spent a fortune on vet bills with my first cat, because he was such a scrapper. Current cat not aggressive but won't stay away from unneutered, bigger, more vicious cats. Grrrrr. Oh, great, now he's yowling because the door refuses to open on its own!

Morning purps
have a lovely holiday!
Ziggy take it easy lovely x
Not sure what the day holds for us today. Probably a home day, maybe a trip to the local park. Pup is going off on holiday with co-sharers for a week. We were planning on getting up early and taking him for a walk before he gets collected at 9 but that is looking unlikely now!
Whatever we end up doing I hope to:
* load of washing & line dry
* get madam to help me tidy up the garden - it's mostly her mess out there!
* reading & some of madam's homework
* think we'll get a board game out later
* continue piecing together pattern and cut out my size
* checked banking - no sign of joining reward yet - 7 days left in which to pay me....
* go for a walk with madam at some point
* do some seed sowing
* need to continue with the top I'm making
* madam wants me to make her dolls a couple of dresses
Ok that'll doDF as at 30/12/16
