Morning all,
Priorities today are collecting rubbish and bins from around the house (it's bin day tomorrow morning), dusting, and floors (need to hoover and a quick mop).
Other tasks to be done include washing, washing, and more washing, prepare something for dinner, go to bottle bank., send off quote for storm damage to insurance.
Hugs to all of you who are struggling0 -
Actually got myself in to gear and did something.
All stray bits removed from living room, dusted, vacuumed and mopped. Kitchen vacuumed and mopped. Downstairs now looks so much better, why didn't I do it before given that it hasn't taken that long at all. WM has been moved to TD and put on again.
DD2 is out in the garden cutting hedges and cutting back overgrown bushes.
DD1 has just texted to say that she has passed her last load of exams so is now a few months neared to being a doctor. Bubbles put in the fridge for this evening.
Going to help DD2 clear up and then have some nice fresh bread and pat! for lunch.0 -
Hoovering done
Tip run done
Small shop for fruit done
Low cal soup made
Power washed the pation table and 'white' chairs, which are now back to white.
Patio power washed, stopped for a break, then down the side of the house, wheelie bins and car mats next on the list, then cleaning the downstair windows that had been messed up by the power washing.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Afternoon all. Hope you're all ok as I've only skim read.
Glad that Layla is settling in HB, and well done to MMs DD1.
Not a lot of flying getting done here as I'm working full time this week, but today I have walked the dogs twice, done 3 wash loads, changed bedding again after Poppet decided to roll in the long grass then roll on our bed, and I've sorted finances and done some online shopping. Also put rubbish and recycling out.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Was supposed to be a couple of hours this morning. The particular OotP that desperately needed me to come in yesterday but now desperately needed me first thing today didn't turn up until 1 and ten to two. Started to leave at quarter to three as another one piped up with 'Oh, Miss, could you just....'
I'm going home, I said. So I did. Apparently they're in again tomorrow. I am not.
Sigh.
I am now incredibly hormonal, ripped Himself to shreds late last night because of it and now wishing for gin, chocolate and a blanket. I have none of these things.
Himself hasn't dared make a mess of the kitchen whilst I was working, though.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
It was a fairly productive day in the end.
3 loads of washing, 2 were line dried, the last one is indoors.
HHI
2 hours digging at the lottie, although little progress beyond a barrow of weeds. And hopefully some Slinky progress.
Bathroom given a good scrub.
Dusted and vacc’d all round. I might have forgotten to do the stairs though!
Dinner cooked, kitchen tidied, salad made for lunch tomorrow.
DD dropped off with her friends. Her bedding changed whilst she is out. Just need to go and pick her up shortly.
At last I think I might have dented at least some of the lists from the past couple of weeks. Thank you one and all as without holding myself accountable here, I certainly wouldn’t have done half of this.0 -
Towels washed
Tiles scrubbed in kitchen
They are threatening another discharge for dancepops for the middle of next week just in time for the bank holiday closures (doctors and chemists)
He has already had 2 failed ones so we are starting a sweep stake of when he will return.
Dancegran is still in and no one has mentioned discharge for her.
2 hours flying done at their home0 -
Me again
Good morning
Washing machine is on. I have found a missing book for DS2 so he should be entertained whilst I pop into the bath. He has a dental appointment later so I hope he doesn’t refuse to go this time.0 -
Waves and hugs to anyone in need.
Today's plan:
Go to gym
Do drum practice
Clean church. Meant to bea group of us doing it tomorrow but it will be my birthday and oddly, I want to start it with a Park Run then a Toby breakfast, as it's a year since my 1st Park Run give or take a week. I think much will be walking as for various reasons running hasn't been much on the agenda lately, but I want to do it.
Check and send off a report and start another.
Do flower arrangement for SILs birthday, she's coming round for a meal tomorrow.
Rest of today likely to be social as BIL arrived last night, staying till tomorrow. He and Mr N have 2 meetings with various nurses today. MIL is back in her flat.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0
