I have just started selling my 1st items on ebay (only listed 3) so am very new at this, please forgive me for a silly question:
1 of the things i have listed has 9 watchers, 0 bids and 2days left. I am just wondering if it is normal for an item to have this many watchers but no bids yet?
Would i be correct in presuming that they may start bidding nearer to the end of the auction?0 -

Hi, your post won't get seen by too many as you've stuck it up on an information post. You may want to use the 'new thread' button and start a new thread.
Watchers watch for a lot of reasons. They may be potential buyers, they may be sellers and have the same item and want to see what it goes for and they may be waiting for the last day/few hours to make their bid.0 -
This tool ddtab.com allows to view eBay daily deals sorted by date and with search function. If you're frequent to deals.ebay.com it'll surely save tons of your time.0

Hi, I'm looking to start selling on ebay for the first time. The only thing I have concerns about is P+P.
If possible can someone give a quick run down of what is required as a seller, as proof I posted the goods? I keep reading different things, P.O.P and C.O.P, is there any difference? What do I ask for at the PO?
Where do you guys buy your postage materials from, for instance if I sold a pair of trainers how would you package them?
I have a Keyboard and stand too, is that something you would send via a courier?
Thanks for any help.0 -

I listed a skirt which was clearly only a UK sale.
Someone in Russia bid & won. When I pointed out I only post to UK she said OK.
I then offered as a second chance to next bidder who never replied, so now have an outstanding amount (only £2.20) still awaiting payment in my total.
Because it was free listing yesterday I relisted the skirt, but I can't get rid of the £2.20 from my 'waiting for payment' total.
I know this is probably an easy one but I have searched and can only find a solution to go to the resolution centre.
Can anyone help me please? I'd be most grateful.
Thank you in advance

I have seen sometimes an auction with "comet" clearance auction such as here http://www.clearance-comet.co.uk/
Are they genuine or just a bigus such as using a robot or asking their people/employer to bid, so they will always get the good price for thier stuff ?
What I am trying to avoid here is wasting my time to bid something whhc is actually you could get it without the need for auction ?
Thanks for your reply
