  • Hi all and happy Friday :)
    I achieved a NSD yesterday. Today i've been mum's taxi to the airport for DD2 and boyfriend so paid drop off fee; plus small amount of spends in the budget version of Mr T. I have also submitted my meter readings - first time in a few months - so hoping for my bill to be adjusted downwards...
    Charged phone and laptop up in work.

    NSD Wednesday (not counting hospital parking which is for prescheduled and unavoidable), broke the magic yesterday as forgot lunch, about to break magic as I'm off to get a pint. And it's the weekend, and it's the holidays, and the theory test for my UK licence is 2 weeks away, so think I will sit a test test and do some practicing. Got to keep the wheels running after Breaks IT.

    Evening all :)
    Not much in the way of small things today, as it was work this morning and hospital this afternoon, but nothing spent at least!
    *Washed hair and left to dry naturally
    *Home grown cooked fruit from freezer for breakfast
    *All food from home - made sweet and sour pork for dinner using the YS pork shoulder steaks I bought yesterday. There is plenty left for another meal - I do like to cook once and eat twice :)
    *Posted ebay parcels while out and about this morning (postage paid by buyers, and a business cost in any case)
    *Free parking at local hospital, the consultant was doing a clinic at local little hospital so I didn't have to drive to the city and pay a fortune to park. Downside is I need an operation fairly soon :(
    *Walked dog, free exercise :)
    *Stove alight, as it is cold :eek:
    *Kettle on top for 'free tea' later :)
    *Oh and OH had a win on the premium bonds - sadly only £25 it turned out, so I had to step away from the Georgian manor house I had in my sights :rotfl:

    *Avoid potential vet bills by refusing to let cat out of the front door. He has a cat flap into the back garden so if he must go out the front, he will have to walk round. He was attacked by the local thug cat yesterday afternoon. I managed to split things up before it got too nasty & expensive, but he came in with clumps of fur hanging off & judging by the amount of fur he was spitting out, he'd at least managed to aim a bite at Thug Features. He'd probably be a nicer cat if only the owners would do the responsible thing & take him in for Trouble Nugget Removal. Anyway, cat a bit sorry for himself this morning & wasn't even very interested in his breakfast.

    Hope Feline Foxgloves is ok.

  • Afternoon everyone :D I've had the morning to myself as madam had a sleepover and oh has gone out. I've used the time sewing my top and about to oil the shelves.

    Somehow managed to get it together to make the bread at 11 last night so had fresh bread this morning :D

    Other things I intend:

    * hang up load of washing already done
    * think of something quick to have for dinner
    * do 1st coat of primer on one alcove (other one will have to wait until tomorrow as behind on oiling schedule with this one :o )
    * do free meditation
    * bath & pamper session
    * maybe go for a walk when madam gets back
    * read free book

    Ok that's all

    Dawn sorry to hear you need an op. Hoping for a speedy recovery for you x

    Morning all :hello:

    We're out for most of the day visiting family so just a small list today:

    Make packed lunches for tomorrow
    Washing shuffle
    Smalls to swimming lessons
    Make a low cal pudding for later so it can set whilst we're out
    Continue to use some ground coffee as we found a bit of a mountain of it when we cleared out our stores
    Triage fridge, couple of portions of things that need to go in freezer / be eaten for tea tonight
    Take some snacks and hot drink with us in the car whilst we are travelling

    Have a good day all. Purps.
  • Morning everyone, was beautiful here yesterday so got lots of washing dry on the line. Did a small shop in Mr A including some easter goodies for one of my sisters and her daughter; DD1 is off down south to visit our family so can take them with her. Collected a present I ordered for a friend's birthday (via £co) - she told me she is away for a few days so I can post her present second class post as no rush - it all helps doesn't it?! Had to work last night at a function so got a free dinner :) Been doing surveys for SB, I Say and You Gov.
    Got more washing on the line as a dry day again here. Going for a walk today and maybe lunch out - have suggested to friend we take our own sandwiches but will see. She likes to drive so free transport. Will eat B/D from stores and as both DDs away going to clean and check what's in the fridge.
    Hope everyone has a good day and hugs to those that need them
