  • Morning all!

It's a bit late, as I weighed in on Monday, but I have to log a STS this week.

However, I had a pleasant surprise, as I finally logged in to MFP for the first time since the beginning of January (when I last logged a WI). I was 12s 8lb then, and am 11s 11lb now, so that's something to be chuffed about, and it motivated me to try harder.

I've not been massively brilliant food-wise, but I've been doing a lot more exercise. Some friends from home visited on Tuesday, and we did a four-mile walk up a local hill that I'd only done the week before with my oh. I realised that both times I felt fitter than I have all year. I've been tracking my walks and have done quite a few miles over the last few weeks. My back still catches me out several times a day, but generally I'm doing ok. Just got to remember to do my physio every night, as I've been rubbish since coming to Scotland...

Fingers crossed the exercise helps me report a loss next week!
Trying to regain my pre-baby, pre-back surgery figure!

After a pretty rubbish day Tuesday, happy to say I had a good day yesterday. Ate well and went for a run at lunchtime. Now just to keep it going.

_party__party_happy birthday Dumpling, enjoy your special day.

All is well here. I’ve upped my excercise and am being more mindful of my snacking. I’m logging my food again in a phone app even though it’s a pain, it helps me stay on track. And I tried on a pair of Zara size 14 shorts and not only could I fasten them up, I could still breathe and move around in them. This time last year I bought a pair of Marks and Spencer’s size 18 shorts that now won’t stay up.

    Today’s menu
Brunch: bacon, poached eggs and tomatoes, coffee with milk
Snacks: 30g pack of cheese, coconut water. Tea with milk
Dinner: piri piri chicken skewer in lettuce “wraps”
    Small square of dark choc

    Happy birthday Dumpling!

Yesterday was a dieting disaster, but I'm getting back on track today. DD has a parcel waiting at the sorting office. I'd usually drive to collect it but I think I will walk. I'm not sure how big it is but there is the option of a bus back if it's awkward to carry.

Have a good day all :)

    Good afternoon all,

    Happy Birthday dumpling

    :bdaycake:

Sorry I've not been here much this week, I had a migraine on Monday and another yesterday so I felt a bit rough after the second.

I'll update the lists later this evening in case anyone else wants to weigh in. I'm off to make cakes to take with us on our weekend away - some for the person we're staying with and one for the people that he works with (who were kind enough to cover his on call when we stayed over last year for a funeral so he could be with us).

Take care all of you :)

Happy Birthday Dumpling! Hope you’ve had a lovely day.
Been out for a longish walk with the dogs, got lost getting there though(!) haven’t had a very good day eating wise but I will improve! At least I’ve been doing my physio exercises every day! If I keep it up hopefully my back and hips will be less painful, meaning I can exercise more which will hopefully help with the fibro. Then just got to plan my eating more.
    Love to all

    Hello lovely people :hello:
Thank you for my birthday wishes, they were so nice to read. I have had a lovely day so far and I still have my birthday meal to look forward to.

I won't list my menu today if you don't mind as there is far too much sugar/cake involved but you only turn 50 once so what the heck :rotfl:.
Tomorrow I will be back on track and ready to get healthy again but I am just going to enjoy what's left of my special day today.

Hope you all have a great day too, take care xx

Happy birthday Dumpling hope you had a super day (calories don't count on your birthday ;))

I'm weighing with a loss of -1.5lb I'm pleased with that as last weekend was very [STRIKE]Hit[/STRIKE] and miss.

Am back to my c25k now that my ankle is better run 3 of week 5 done.

    B yoghurt and fruit
L salad, jacket and dd made a veg omelette (was very nice)
D tried the veggie burgers and sweet potato rosti from the pon book, both were very nice but I'm still a bit peckish so next time might serve with some wedges as there weren't very many rosti for 4

Hope you are feeling better Cranky brilliant news on the shorts Gingerlily :T

I am off work now with the kids for the next week, they are planning the park and the science and history museum and dd want to go to a record shop in the city, so lots of walking just need to keep an eye on the eating!
