I've just been given a mango. Now, I've only ever had one in a fruit salad. Does anyone have any recipe ideas - or is a fruit salad the best option?
Thanks for your help.

I have bought two gorgeous ripe, gently yielding mangoes, big brutes they are too, and I have peeled and chopped them.........question is..............what now? What can i do with them............ polite answers only please:hello:  please play nicely children !0

I just eat em like that, not what you're looking for I know. You could have them with plain yogurt.0

yep, thats how I usually eat them, but its a bit late for that now, and I just wondered how they would keep, should i cook them, like apple sauce or something? They were only 25p each and they are huge, so if I ate them I would be sick, especially after just finishing a mars bar:o:hello:  please play nicely children !0

They'll keep for a few days in the fridge. That is to say, *I* wouldn't have any problem with putting them in the fridge to be eaten in a day or 2. They wouldn't last long in my fridge!
I don't know how to cook them. I suppose just like apples as you say.0
