help with mango glut please

Options
I've just been given a mango. Now, I've only ever had one in a fruit salad. Does anyone have any recipe ideas - or is a fruit salad the best option?

Thanks for your help.

    Ha, ha, ha. Cheers anyway.

Seriously, thanks 160 and Cathy for your suggestions - think I'll do both options tomorrow night. Yummy!

I just eat em like that, not what you're looking for I know. You could have them with plain yogurt.

yep, thats how I usually eat them, but its a bit late for that now, and I just wondered how they would keep, should i cook them, like apple sauce or something? They were only 25p each and they are huge, so if I ate them I would be sick, especially after just finishing a mars bar:o

They'll keep for a few days in the fridge. That is to say, *I* wouldn't have any problem with putting them in the fridge to be eaten in a day or 2. They wouldn't last long in my fridge!

I don't know how to cook them. I suppose just like apples as you say.
