Hi guys and girls here is another cash back nightmare i have done a few in the past before with no problems but these x2 companies have caused so much pain and rubbish trying to get my money back well just get some money. I signed up to a vodaphone contract 12 months £35 per month with 12 months free line rental so i did the usual stuff of sending off my bills well the first one i sent was a printed online bill and they sent it back to me stating these werent accepted so i got vodaphone to send me a proper paper statement and i sent it to them within the 30day period of claiming cash back and since then they have refused to pay any of the claims i have continued sending them since then on time and got the same letter back saying NO pretty much and now this month i got my letter returned saying that the company is no longer there, I had to send the claims back to Mobile Affilates but i got the contracts via 2 different companies is there anything i can do? Court? Police? anything to get my £485 from both contracts so over £900 back from them?No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

I have previously sent my bill to them but it wasn't recieved so all of my cashback claim on that account was voided even ones in the future to claim. Its in the terms and conditions are theres nothing you can do even if they were still trading. You have to send an original bill not a printed off one from your online account. Even though it may be from a different name eg trading as... they are still one company so they have both ceased trading.

A customer of collapsed Midlands cashback retailer Mobile Connections (Dialamobile) has had three of his Orange contracts torn up in a case that could spell trouble for operators.
The Communication and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme (CISAS), which settles disputes for Orange and T-Mobile customers, ruled the customer could end his contracts because of ‘significant changes’ from his original agreement.
Mobile operators have always maintained that cashback is a separate arrangement between the customer and retailer, but this latest ruling acknowledges customers reliance on cashback payments to pay airtime bills.
Roger Godsiff MP, whose constituents bore the brunt of the collapse, said: ‘CISAS has not just looked at the strict legality, they’ve looked at the moral obligations of the case, and I would urge other T-Mobile and Orange Mobile Connections customers to contact them.’
The Birmingham man, who had three £40 Orange contracts, was left without any cashback when Mobile Connections went bust in September last year owing £12m to 90,000 customers.
The customer claimed that without receiving any cashback he could not afford to pay the £1,496 demanded by Orange.
And he said it was not made clear that he couldn’t cancel prior to a minimum term without a penalty.
Head of trading standards at Birmingham City Council Chris Neville said it was the first case of its kind that he knew of, and he described the outcome as ‘a victory for common sense’.
Mohammed Afazal, who runs a support website for Mobile Connections customers said there were another 50 cases pending with CISAS, and they were ‘pretty much identical’ to it.

I for one didn't know this, and wouldn't have known this had it have not been cross posted here - so thank you friendlywatchdog.
Quentin: It's relevant to the thread; many of us haven't subscribed to other cashback scam threads and wouldn't haveknown otherwise. It hasn't been mentioned in the main MSE newsletters yet - what's the problem?0 -

Why is it relevant to this thread (which is about mobile affiliates, not dialamobile)
Contracts with mobile affiliates were taken out on line, and all their customers were well aware that a penalty would be imposed should they cancel their contracts prior to the expiry of the minimum period.0
